I had to return this rug because it was definitely not 4' x 6'. I can't remember what the dimensions were. I think it was more like 7' x 10'. I could not keep it because it didn't fit in the foyer. I didn't look at the quality too much because I was going to return it. There didn't seem to be any major problems with it.

Nice big rug for the price! The color shift between the two kinds of weaving is much more subtle than pictured, almost looks like 1 solid color in person just with a shift in texture between the squares. The smaller squares and border are very flat fibers, almost like a plush carpet, the larger squares are more of a tight loop weave, which has variations throughout that make it look more handmade - not perfectly geometric with knife-edge lines. This looser weave can snag (especially with cats & a toddler), but I've trimmed them as they occur with a small scissors & it blends back well. Bought to cover a large dark spot on hardwood floors, so can't beat it for the size, plushness & feels nice & warm underfoot. Also liked that it was wool for having tummy & play time with the kids so it didn't have a ton of chemicals in it. The dark color hides stains really well & it works well with our mid-century modern decor.

Beautiful rug but snags easily.

Gorgeous rug but snags easily. Have 2 small beagles & numerous rugs throughout house. Never have had one snag in any of rugs. Second day & almost everyday after this rug has snags. Dogs nails are short. Have to cut snags w/scissors, only way to get rid of the ugly visual. For the money, it just wasn't worth it. Have other Martha Stewart rugs & they have never snagged, just this one. A shame!

Color was NOT as expected

The rug looks like it's decent quality, however the color of the actual rug is not even close to that in the image. I was extremely disappointed upon opening it as it does not match the room it was needed in.
