Difficult to install

It is a beautiful piece. However not all the hardware was provided and it was very difficult to install. We broke a glass bulb while we were installing, which requires 3 people.

Light Love

Gorgeous light but tricky installing. Heavy and difficult to place one of the screws in the brace as it would turn when plate was placed over it. When hanging, we kept the bulbs covered as protection so they wouldn't break if they knocked together. Still, it took 1 person to screw in, one to hold the round plate to the ceiling and 1 person to hold the bulbs to lessen the weight. Loved the little white glove that came with it. We put coiled Edison bulbs with amber light and soft light and love it. I'm sure cleaning it will be tedious, but it was the look I wanted.

I'm fairly new to ordering on Overstock, however so far it's been great. I've now ordered several hanging light fixtures, and Love, Love them. Only problem is I have to have an electrician install them, bummer.. but not a deal breaker. Because once they're up they have been beautiful. This one however was very challenging for him, you need to get each length hung correctly, and he complained about not having enough room to place the extra cord into the ceiling tray. I've added a pic, I wanted the lengths to hang a little differently, but decided this was fine, since he was having a hard time with it. I suggest, like one of the other reviews, do the length first, by maybe getting something to safely hold the light so it can be adjusted to the correct lengths b4 getting on the ladder. GREAT BUY....

Hard to install

I really like this fixture, but the electrician and I struggled to install it. It's extremely heavy, the glass globes were clanking together, and they were on longer cords than advertised. We shortened them - after it was installed the first time - then had to take it down, shorten each cord, and reinstall it, as the globes clanked crazily. One broke, but it's hard to see, so I ignore it. I love it, but it was a trial.

This is a very, very beautiful light...and I would absolutely buy it again.....but ....it is a big pain to install and please read below to avoid the issues. The TWO most important things a buyer/installer needs to pay attention to for the install (these things should absolutely be on the instructions and they are not) is 1) try to measure longest light while keeping in the foam packing. The measurements state that the 8 globe light hangs 41” in height. The one we received was 57” long. After hanging on the ceiling we then found this issue out. With having 9’ ceilings the lights were way to long. With some electrical tape you can pull each if the wires up & tape down inside ceiling plate to get desired length. I had to pull each wire up by 16” 🤦🏻‍♀️ 2) DO NOT remove the globes from the foam packing AND be really careful to choose to open the box on the side with the CEILING plate ON TOP. Lift the whole fixture up in the packaging on something close to the CEILING. We used a card table on top of the dining table. These glass shades can NOT be replaced because there is no way to remove them. If you break one you are out of luck. Hence, keep in foam packing until ceiling install is finished so the globes don’t clang together and break. This turned out to be a project! Hope we can save you the aggravation/time we went through. Having said all of the above, I absolutely love this fixture and despite all the above mentioned “glitches”, it is ABSOLUTELY STUNNING and I am extremely pleased with it.

Great chandelier. Completely changed my dining room.

[Rewarded Review] Beautiful!!

I’ve had my eye on this for about a year. Finally bought it. Had trouble installing it because the long bracket didn’t seem to be strong enough to hold the light without pulling the canopy of the light fixture way from the ceiling to where it wasn’t flush. Had to anchor the ends of the long bracket in the ceiling which did do the trick. Definitly a two person installation just so you don’t clink the fixtures and potentially break them. It does come pre-assembled which was great too! Over all, I LOVE this light and was able to make it work which is why I still give 5 stars.
