Completely shattered glass in box, being returned

I was looking for a really large modern outdoor light and this seems to be the biggest I could find. It looks really good installed, especially with a long skinny lightbulb.

We are in the process of completing new construction and thought this would look good next to the entry door. It does look nice, but the wall mount screws are tough to get to to tighten, and the top connection between the globe and the mounting arm is loose and do not see a way to tighten that part, easily. With the high winds we get, it works certainly come apart. Just wiggling it it moves all over the place.

These light fixtures are great for an outside house refresh!

Clean and fresh look to front doors

Beautiful lights and easy to install. They are slightly heavy for the single center pole so they tend to tilt towards the wall slightly. I placed a small piece of black styrofoam behind to level it out. Otherwise happy with the purchase.

The fixtures look very nice. For some reason it is dark outside on my patio & my driveway. I realize the fixtures don't come with light bulbs, but they should. They are pictured on the box. I would like to know which bulbs are pictured. I need at least 60w bulbs.

Overall a great buy. Before buying, the reviews did not help me with my questions so I’m gonna write a detailed review so that it can help the next person. I bought 6 of these for both covered and uncovered outdoor areas. Bulbs are not included and it clearly states that on the box but I didn’t expect the frame to not have a weather gasket. It’s just a metal plate with wires behind it. My concern during installation is water, especially heavy rain, pouring down on it. I wish it did come with outdoor rated bulbs because they are not easy to find. I used a waterproof sealant and sealed three sides of the metal plate. The size of the lamp is big. You recommend it if you have large double doors or high walls like I do. It feels solid and sturdy but doesn’t appear to be made to last more than a few years. At $80 bucks a lamp, it was worth it and gave my house a whole new updated look. If you plan to buy, check your existing electric box and see that it isn’t wider than the metal lamp plate. Also, start seeking outdoor rated bulbs. I wouldn’t chance it with indoor bulbs if you’re exposing it to rain.

I love this lantern sconce. It has a great style that would really fit into any design. It has a matte black finish and is very stylish. Installation was very easy. Any DIYer can do it. Just make sure. To shut off the power and follow the instructions. I would recommend a LED bulb for various reasons. They have bulbs that look like a little fire is in it.

My new light is awesome and will be installed soon, and Inplan to redo all six lights on my garage. This is a very well built unit, the sconce is gorgeous and heavyweight. I love the Matt black finish and the clean lines. This Hampton Bay Hurley wall lantern looks modern and clean. This is o much more prettier than my previous old style. I love the modern look of this light.
