I purchased 3 lights. Two for the front of the garage and one for side door. I put dimmable light bulbs in and the lights function exactly as described.

[Rewarded Review] Feature packed and easy to install

This light is pretty well packed with features. Most lights are either dusk to dawn or motion sensing, but not both. When its dark out, the light comes on and gives off a decent amount of light. When it senses motion, it turns on brighter and then returns to the lower brightness setting. It has a pretty modern design that works well with alot of different exteriors. Installation is pretty standard and is just like any other exterior wall mounted light. I really like this fixture and it's pretty durable as well.

Constantly going on. Very sensitive?

I researched so many lights. I thought I found a winner. It was great (so I thought) until I had to change the bulb so soon. I have never changed so many light bulbs in my life. I'm now going on the last bulb I have for this fixture. And it's NOT even been up a year yet. Very disappointing! Especially since I have a stubborn husband that won't replace another. Ugh

A replacement for a much older lamp that had used only incandescent bulbs. This one works with the same features but uses LED (we use a 100 watt). Being open at the bottom makes it easier to install the bulb and won't trap bugs, so we anticipate it will be easier to keep clean.

The look and feel of this light is great. It feels of quality but lacks switches for adjusting the operation. In order to adjust for dusk to dawn operation or off but on with motion, all selections are made by toggling the wall switch. Personally, I would prefer selector switches to set the desired operation. It would seem that the wall switch method would default to the test mode every time power is cut to the light (power outage). The light does work as intended, is a great size and looks great too. I would recommend this light.

This 1-Light Black Motion Sensing Dusk to Dawn Outdoor Wall Lantern Sconce with Clear Tempered Glass by C Cattleya is a great value. The light is small and simple in design, which makes it easy to install and all allows light to go out in every direction. The light has a motion sensor and dusk-to-dawn feature that I like. At dusk, the light comes on at 30% brightness. When it senses motion, the light increases to 100%. I find that the motion sensor does an excellent job of detecting motion as well.

[Rewarded Review] Multiple features and quality construction

Selected this light for use on our front porch. This fixture was selected to enhance security at our front door which is monitored by a security camera. Installation was easy to accomplish in approximately 20 minutes as all hardware needed is supplied with the fixture. The mounting plate is designed to fit any size or configuration of outlete box (see photo). The motion sensor detects motion up to 40 feet away and has a 220 degree arc of detection. At night the light illuminates at 30% until motion is detected and then it illuminates at 100% brightness. This feature enhanced security by providing bright light for our security camera when the motion detector senses someone at our front door. Both the motion sensor and dusk to dawn sensor functioned perfectly. We intend to purchase another one for use on our driveway which also has a security camera. I installed a dimmable LED lightbulb and it functions correctly. Overall a quality light fixture at a good price point.

2 out or 3 lights not working

I bought 3 of these lights to use on one switch at the front of my house. I only got one of the light to turn on. There is power to all lights and it is connected properly. I see the led lights blinking on the unit but the light bulb never turns on. I replaced the bulbs with new A19 Philips Dimmable bulbs and the bulbs started to flicker. I've contacted support but haven't received any response.

Nice lights with several features

Love this light.we have it on low level by our door at dusk. With the motion sensor switching to high level with movement. We bought 2 lights. The other is out further which is on motion sensor otherwise off. Several selections to chose from. I little tricky to set but we got it set the way we wanted.

We needed a light on our back porch that would come on at dusk and stay on all night so our dog could come and go thru a doggie door. But a bright lite bulb bothered our neighbors. This fixture tones down the light to provide a low voltage light all night yet amps up to full power when it detects movement. Issues solved!!

It the perfect size for the side door to light up all night and I love the Flared Sconce look !! C Cattleya Black Motion Sensing Dusk to Dawn Outdoor Wall Lantern Sconce with Clear Tempered Glass is the third C Cattleya fixture I have acquired. These are really something! The way they work with their dusk to dawn and motion sensor brightening is a marvel to behold. Four modes include “Stand-by”, “Test”. “Auto”, and “Manual override”. Test mode has the light come on when the switch is turned on and then enters Test Mode to check motion activation. Auto is for Dusk to Dawn and Manual setting is so that the light can be used as a regular fixture operating though the ON/OFF switch.

Sensing, Efficient, Hands-off. This light is perfect for back yards, garages exteriors or even front porches. The dimming function is low enough that bugs don't see it as a mating hangout but the motion sensing is sensitive enough to pick up motion at 25 feet away. Installation was easy when replacing a pre-existing lighting fixture with only a few extra steps when installing into a new location.

This is a superb, stylish and classy looking wall lantern sconce with clear tempered glass. Best feature I liked it that I can take out easily the bulb and clean the glass inside and out. Being outdoor, glass can get dirty and requires cleaning every so often to have brighter light. I also liked that the back side (towards the wall) is not dark, but is glass also, so it serves as wall feature light as well.

This is the perfect light. I don't know if you've looked for a motion detector small to medium sized light for a back door recently or not. I have. I can tell you that they are all giant. It was like searching for the Holy Grail to find something of modest size that was elegant and not LED. I like the LED bulbs OK but I didn't want a fixture that was built in LED. This is all the things I wanted, smaller sized but not tiny. Perfect for the back door. Elegant and uses a replaceable bulb. It has a motion sensor so it will come on when I go to the door at night but it isn't one of those dark till dawn lights that stays on all night. I didn't want that. This one is perfect. Couldn't be happier!
