Product is fine no issue with the product. When ordered I found out that it was back ordered and would arrive later than I could accept due to my construction schedule. When I spoke to the representative he told me he would cancel my order and he never did. Now I’m being charged to return an item that should have never come to me. When I called to have the charge taken off I was told there was nothing that can be done and I would have to pay for someone’s mistake. Not happy at all.

These posts appear fairly heavy duty. You will need lag screws or equivalent size hardware to install them onto your substrate as the holes are larger than standard screws/bolts. The welds are substantial and I don't expect any shear at the base during high winds. The caps are a little loose and easily knocked off the tops during assembly, but they pop right back on.

[Rewarded Review] Iron Posts for Fence Section

These posts were part of the package for the Barrette Outdoor Living fence section. The post are well constructed, with a solid, flat, welded-on base, and they appear to be powder coated. Each base has four 3/8" holes, and I used 5/16" x 2" galvanized lag screws to mount them to my deck, being sure that I went into cross beams under the decking. The result: Everything is very solid.

These posts came with a privacy screen for mounting support. They are really excessively tall for the tiny footprint base plates that are on the bottom. I was trying to move the unit and to check for best placement and any small breeze would start knocking the screen over. I didn't want to have to pour cement to install these alongside my patio, so I opted to not install the unit. These would have gotten higher scoring from me if the bases were bigger.

The 2x2x76 Steel Post with Surface Mount - Black was a great addition to securely holding the 4x6 Vinyl Fence with Sanibel Black Decorative Screen - Cypress. The instructions didn't come with the items, so you will need to scan the QR code and get the instructions via the website that it leads you to. It took a total of two days to complete this minor project. But once all the drilling of the holds in the parts and pieces was completed one day one, the next day was strictly piecing everything together to create a wonderful garden decor for my roses.

[Rewarded Review] Heavy Aluminum

These posts are what really makes the accompanying privacy fence panels sturdy. They are constructed of heavy aluminum which equates to no rust or corrosion. They are easy to drill and have holes in the feet for staking support and are powder coated for endurance.

Very sturdy, good welds, good thick metal, nice powder coating. Will work with a variety of products to make a nice decorative, or privacy fence. 4 bolt pattern for securing to an existing hard structure or fresh footings for a new area.

I bought two fence posts to go with my privacy fence to divide my yard from my neighbors. The post are made of higher quality material but there were several scratches on the posts. I took close up pictures of the posts. Overall, the decorative posts were elegant looking but if you look closer, you would be able to see the scratches.

got posts to use with barrette vinyl fencing.Posts are 2 inch square by 72 inches.Posts designed for flush mount in concrete or wooden base.Failed to get "L" brackets so i had to use self tapping metal screws.Fence post are a quality product and would recommend there use.

I have it 2 ft off the ground and water will not travel through a 5 ft hose.. Need it to water a garden for my son... Buyer beware. Piece of junk.
