Pretty to look at and that's it.

I bought this coffee machine when my cuisinart finally gave out on me. My cuisinart was able to make 14 cups and reheat remaining coffee. This coffee machine is very pretty to look at and looks nice on my counter but it doesn't have the option to warm up coffee and I am tempted to give it away to a friend. I work from home and always looking to have more coffee but find myself needing to reheat the coffee and I do not have a microwave. I don't think it's worth the price point.

Stay Aawy!

Total garbage, too complicated, too many sensors. Just trash. Worst coffee maker I ever owned, $39 ones last longer. Criminal, actually, to sell this crap.

Terrible coffee maker

Worked great for 4 months then just didn’t work at all-nothing is happening. It’s a terrible product! I’m so angry-and customer service has been just as bad! It’s has a 1year warranty but by the time someone finally answers my emails, phone calls-warranty will run out! It’s been three months and I have not been taken care of!!!

Poor Quality

Very poor quality spent 300$ on this coffee maker had it for about 3-4 months and when you went to brew coffee, coffee machine would just turn off. The display screen has stuff pop up on it all the time. Be aware and think twice before purchasing.

DON'T BUY!!!

Looks nice but DON'T BUY! I wish I had read the reviews before I purchased. I purchased the drip coffee maker on 7/28/2023. The descale light and temperature light will not turn off, even after descaling OVER 10 TIMES.

Over priced with sub standard parts

Magnetic connection failed less than 6 months. Reading through reviews and Reddit this is a known failure and one that has not been fixed. Very disappointed in this cafe product.

I wanted to love this. Quality lacking.

This coffee maker is very stylish, it matches the rest of my appliances (even the toaster) and makes pretty good coffee (SCA approved). I just wish the build quality was as good as the looks. Less than a year in the pot handle started cracking like shown in so many reviews here. It is like something is corroding under the bronze cladding. Less than two years in and the seven segment display that shows time and cups is starting to fail. I can’t use the maker without using the app now (not always convenient) and I can’t see what time it is. The attached picture was taken at 6:58. I tried to contact GE for help and they brushed me off. Basically live with it or send it to the landfill and spend another $250 on something else. For the price I find this incredibly unsettling. I really wanted this to be awesome and went against my better judgment and it seems I will be paying for that mistake now.

Pretty but unhealthy

Would love to give this five stars because the coffee tastes fantastic and we love the look, but we are on our second machine as we had to return the first. It was peeling copper/gold plastic where the coffee drips into the carafe.

Great coffee maker

Good looking coffee maker and top it off it makes really good coffee. It brews the coffee really fast and is super quiet. Chimes in at the end with a little song to let you know coffee is ready.

Looks Nice - Poor Quality

Looks nice, but it's junk! Similar to other reviews the finish on the carafe handle flakes off and splits apart at the seams. We always rinse and dry following use. It’s never been put in the dishwasher or subjected to hash detergents or abrasive cleaning supplies. Had to purchase the $70 replacement carafe since it was out of warranty. Also, the LED display is going out making it difficult to set the auto brew time or read the clock. Look for alternatives. There are better options at this price point.

Junk

Stopped working after 2 months. Woke up one morning to no coffee. Pressed buttons as usual. Selected cups and strength. Would click and light around knob would turn in circle. Never would start brewing. Carafe and everything was in place as usual. No error message. Called customer service and was put on hold. Did the call back option and, when called back, she put me on hold again. Waited 10 min on hold and gave up. I’ve had coffee makers go out after 3-5 years, but never after 2 months! Extremely disappointed, especially for the price of this one!

Good cup of coffee, but not worth the price!

You do get a very good cup of coffee, but with drawbacks. If you try to brew more than six cups, the basket will almost overflow and grinds will get all over the "shower head". After the brew cycle, you'll need to lift the lid and allow "trapped" water to flow out into the basket, thus delaying a final pot of coffee. The top of the handle on the pot broke after two years and they did not offer a replacement or even a discount toward a new pot. If the machine was under $150, I could understand, but when it's priced over $300, one would expect to be able to brew a full pot of coffee with no extra grief!

Beautiful and solid but almost completely worthles

The coffee maker is Beautiful, very well fought out and solid. It makes one of the best pots of coffee you'll ever taste outside of Austria. It is easy to clean but it has one fatal flaw. When I was researching it I found a few reviews that talked about how it only worked for a short period of time and I was very hopeful that that would be the exception the rule but my experience was not very good. The product lasted barely more than one month before one day it just wouldn't brew. It would turn on but stopped making coffee and I tried everything including leaving it unplugged for a day plugging it back in, trying to scale it but it will not pump or heat water . Very disappointed! Let's just hope GE makes this right and gets me a replacement very fast and that it doesn't fail. Lack of coffee in the morning is not an ideal way to start the day.

[Rewarded Review] High hopes but a huge let down!

This was a fantastic coffee maker...for almost 2 months! 5 days before it was 2 months old it randomly stopped brewing. Tried everything that the manufacturer suggested. Nothing worked.

Beautiful but algae is disgusting

We got this as a wedding gift. It worked perfectly at first and is aesthetically very beautiful, but quickly we started having issues. The descale light came on about 6 years into use, and despite going through the descaling motions several times over, we haven’t been able to get it to turn off for a year. The reservoir has also started to grow algae in it underneath the white rim — we can’t get it out because we cannot remove the rim. I’ve had a difficult time getting in touch with customer service, and as we’re unfortunately out of warranty now there doesn’t seem to be much we can do. It appears others have had similar issues. I’d suggest looking elsewhere for a coffee pot.

Makes coffee quickly and is quiet

Very sleek appearance, quiet when brewing, brews quickly, great tasting coffee. 4 stars because of adjustments needed at altitude, have to pre moisten coffee filter before adding coffee grinds (if too much will overflow! ), carafe doesn’t retain heat very long. Haven’t used wifi feature but probably ok.

Makes great coffee.... then it dies. Not worth it.

Makes fantastic coffee... then it just stops working. Worked fine for 6 months then you'd hit the brew button and it would whir for a few seconds and say it was finished brewing. Started the warranty process which requires a video of the problem... plugged it in a few days later to make the video and it worked! For a little while. Now it's doing it again plus the common "Add h20" error. Still have a month of warranty left so we'll see what happens. Overall, not worth buying for the price... too many common problems with the unit.

Happy with it!

So far, so good. We've had this coffee maker for a little over a year now. Once you get the hang of the various programming directions, it becomes easy, and as far as drip coffee makers go, this is a great one. We love the quality of the coffee. It looks really nice out on the counter as well.

High Quality!

Amazing drip coffee! Looks amazing too! I have been through so many of the top brands and nothing is as good as this one. Do yourself a favor stop searching on reviews and trust me! I am a knit pick myself so when I say it is good, it is good!

Good Coffee, poor design

It Brews good coffee. The problem is that metal handle peels. Have never submerged the pot, yet the metal is peeling off. Very unsightly.
