Love these tiles!

These tiles are fantastic! They are light and easy to cut with scissors. Now , there are a couple of things: 1) have three people to install. The 2’ x 4’ panels are too big and flexible so 2 people on ladders and 1 to check the lines. 2) use Loctite Heavy Duty glue. 3) make the overlap away from site lines! 4) we used a j channel. Luckily, the white matched with the cheap channels from ****. **** sells the j channels for the Fasade brand. The light was also purchased from Bed, Bath & Beyond.

Great for Aesthetics

I ordered these to cover up the way my bathroom ceiling looked after removing the popcorn. I am waiting for a handyman to hang them for me. They are much thinner than I expected, so thin that I thought I only received one in the pack of five. They were all there, just stuck together because of being so thin/flimsy. I like the texture and the design.

Looks Fantastic and Adds Character

We installed the Fasade panels today. After the panels were up, I actually did a double take, they look that good! We used Loctite Power Grab clear adhesive to affix the panels to the ceiling. It stuck to the ceiling, but was forgiving at the same time, allowing us to wiggle the panels into place. The panels were light weight, making them a breeze to handle. Cutting them was easily done with regular household scissors. Once they were in place, the ceiling looked fantastic. It's still a work in progress, as we need to put the light fixtures and crown molding in place. This ceiling will be a breeze to keep clean, and is a nice addition to our 200 year old kitchen.

Disappointment.

The product was a disappointment. The Crosshatch Silver side ordered did not look good at all when I opened the package. The reverse side which is black, although it was not the desired color, was used instead for the ceiling as I could not afford to cancel the work of the contractor and his workers. Furthermore, the order had gone in twice. When I found out 5 minutes after placing the order, I cancelled one of the orders both with the company Overstock.com and with PayPal. Nevertheless, I received a duplicate order, I got billed twice and PayPal paid them twice. Now, I am going to try to retrieve my money for one of the orders and return the duplicate order. My advice is to order a sample before placing an order and to ensure that the order does not go in twice before hitting that button "Pay with PayPal".

Looks like real tin tile ceiling without having to nail up. With the drop ceiling grid system it only lowers the ceiling height by a little over an inch. Love the color.

Bathroom Returned to Turn-of-the-Century Look

A great product... very authentic looking to real turn-of-the-century tin ceilings, very light weight, easy to cut and shape, and bonds well to the ceiling. We used it to renovate our bathroom to a more period look in our 160-year old house. We are VERY pleased with the results. I do not have any 'negatives', per se, but I will be reaching out to the manufacturer with recommendations to improve their instructions. For example, these 2' x 4' sheets are so light and thin, they are hard to handle after you apply the adhesive to them, i.e. they bend/curve over anywhere your hand(s) are not supporting it. To resolve this, I attached the face of the sheet to an 18" x 42" piece of cardboard (actually from the box the sheets arrived in) with painter's tape. Once the sheet was in position on the ceiling, I carefully removed the cardboard sheet. This was very helpful and something the manufacturer should mention as an option to the installer.

Cool ceiling tiles

These tiles are great - we covered the cigar room ceiling with them, and it gave the room a very cool cozy old-school vibe! Overstock had the best price for these, bonus!

Beautiful!

These are such an easy way to spiff up the boring traditional drop ceiling. Just push them up and lay them right over the old tile.

Metallic silver ceiling tile.

Beautiful and easy to work with. I used it in the entryway after I took down some of the plaster board to insulate the ceiling. The tiles covered up the the plaster board, and helped make the entryway brighter.

I researched so many products to see which would be best to refurbish the bedroom ceiling in my rv. These were great to work with!! Easy to cut, flexible for the slight bend in the ceiling, overlapping seams so no worries about gaps, paintable to match the rest of the room. Plus, they were sturdy enough to withstand all my clumsy handling. Plus, less expensive than other products, and Home Depot had the lowest price.

A good value for covering large area's while providing a space a classy and even historical look. Very low maintenance to keep the appearance looking sharp. Enhanced the overall flow of the kitchen AND, I didn't have to paint tight spots 2 or 3 times!

I had an uneven ceiling. The best options were to skim coat the ceiling (which I was capable to do, but didn't want the mess), or put up a quality tile. While expensive, I chose the Fasade tiles, and the ceiling turned out spectacular. The quality is top notch. I recommend them. If the cost came down, I would recommend it to everyone.
