These doors were just what we needed to make our den conversion project look great. It’s still a work in progress, but these Mela Frosted Glass French Doors will be the best addition with the filtered light from the frosted glass and the classic style of the doors.

It took me a long time to pick out doors that go between my living room and dining room. I am so glad I took my time and picked these doors they are stunning and give the room a touch of class!

The doors are quite heavy and sturdy. The few stars are due to the delivery with missing parts, horrible instructions and lack of a stopper which is absolutely required to keep the door locked from the inside (the locks provide are not adequate to keep it locked due to the weight of the doors). The United Porte representative was nice and did her best to expedite the delivery of missing parts - however, the warehouse couldn't deliver all the missing parts on the 1st try. The instructions are confusing and not for a layperson - there are no part labels (e.g. all the subparts for Pic 1.2, there is no picture of casing sets; instructions are confusing and difficult to read). I had it installed by professionals and even they had a tough time trying to figure out the instructions. The installer ended up coming twice resulting in additional charges. If

We absolutely love these double doors. They open up to my husbands office. Great fit! Great price. We had to change the door knobs for functional reasons, but the ones that come with it are absolutely modern and beautiful. High quality item for sure.

I'm so happy with these French doors! They accent my bedroom so nicely. My carpenter did a great job installing them in my vintage 1898 farmhouse. The transom window we added sets them off great as well.

Gorgeous Doors

Had these installed and the glam pictures do not do them justice. They are beautifully made and primed white. Only tip I would give is because these doors do not have drilled holes for the door handles, the installer can mistakenly install one door backwards,(like in my case). The inside of the doors have a thin layer of weather stripping around the perimeter of the glass which should be noted that it’s for the interior. The mistake is minor and most people probably wouldn’t notice it anyway.
