Versatile and attractive desk

This is a versatile desk or table . Placed it in front of a picture window and it is a great option for reading or correspondence . Simple and quick to put together -

Damaged Part. Customer service unresponsive

I've waited to submit this review to see if the situation would be remedied, but it hasn't been. I received a desk with a damaged top. I've gone through the proper channels to get a replacement part, but only received one email back saying that the wrong size desktop would be shipped to Alabama ( I live in NC) Get it together Max and Lily! Your stuff is cute, but QC and customer service? Awful.

Excellent small space desk, great natural color, suitable for multiple furniture styles. Individual pieces were packed well and assembly was quite easy.

Desk is good but I was missing annoying small part

Desk arrived on time, finish is nice and the wood quality is nice. However, I am missing some small dowel rods that are needed to finish assembly without wobbling. Called the manufacturer, who directed me to Max & Lily. I submitted a parts request over 3 weeks ago now, with no response (other than a confirmation that the request was received). These little wood rods are worth pennies, but the inconvenience of having to go to a hardware store and locate them myself is very annoying.

I purchased this desk to use as a craft table for my kids. The quality is superb and it’s a nice solid piece of furniture. Assembly was very easy for my husband. Very happy with this purchase.

Okay, I was unsure about

Okay, I was unsure about the whole purchase at first. Not gonna lie. Especially since I hadn’t heard of this company before but after seeing all the reviews I was sold. Delivered in a box that included all of the pieces carefully wrapped. It was incredibly easy to assemble and put together with 2 kiddos running around and a baby. The finished product looks fantastic. Boys are incredibly with their desk and every morning look forward to building legos on it. Thank you.

Simple desk, little to no offgassing

Simple desk, no frills. Fairly sturdy. Most importantly to me, there is little to no offgassing, unlike another desk I purchased at the same time.

Not solid wood.

Desk top isn't solid wood; only the frame is. I don't know about you, but that doesn't quite constitute 'solid wood' to me. Poor quality and took over a month to ship. Stuck with it because I can't return an opened box. Look elsewhere for actual solid wood furniture and don't get ripped off like I did.

Disappointment

We waited an extremely long time for the shipment of the desk for our kids, with questions to the company unanswered. Sometimes things just need to take 5 weeks; but a response would have at least given us a ballpark.

It’s solid. Can’t complain. Seems overpriced. Don’t buy unless it’s on sale unless you want to feel uncomfortable with what you spent considering what you’re getting - a plain Jane desk with zero storage.

I bought the navy blue in the 47 inch length. It’s a surprisingly well-made desk and looks great. The blue is a nice cross between a royal blue and a deep blue - really it’s perfect.
