Don't buy anything Maxx ICE.

The only reason I bought it was because it's a little smaller than standard. The bin full switch broken out of the box. This is the second one I've owned, never again. Customer service is terrible, parts hard to get and they are garbage overall.

Would not buy again

Faulty product. Dead on arrival. Thankfully manufacturer is taking care of it.

Produces sheets of 1 x 1 inch ice.

It looks like a good, reliable icemaker. The only think I don't really like about it is that it puts out the ice in big sheets, so you have to break them up. And, the ice falls into a plastic bin, so it doesn't hold as much ice as the previous icemaker I had. But, overall, I am happy with it.

Bad delivery and dented

It was dropped off in my garage No signing for it and no time for inspection It was for a lake house I get it to lake house and it has a dent in it . I sure hope it works

dont use fedex

fedex deliver it bent up , lowes told me that if it works they would give me a discount , hooked it up and it worked fine , next morning floor was soaked water coming out from under cabnet, had a plumber hook it up cost 200 $ now i will out another 200

Leaks!

We’ve had it for less than a year and it is ruining our cabinets as it has leaked so many times. I’ve run the cleaning cycle multiple times and looked for leaks. I’ve drained the whole thing and started over. Still leaks. The worst is that you think you fix it then a week later you come in to water everywhere. Wish I had just spent the money on the kitchenaid. That one lasted 6 yrs. I’m ready to throw this in the dumpster.

Poor construction

The ice maker started to leak on the first day. I had to replace the nylon connections with brass fittings

Used and broken

I purchased this online. We hired a professional plumber to install this and once they took it out of the box it was leaking fluid the back was dented and when they took the back off to see what the issue was they said this has been used. Very disappointed and now I have to return it

Very easy install. Works good making ice, it is a bit noisy and the water inlet connection started leaking right away.

hard worker

Needed an ice-maker that will produce a lot of ice and fast. This one seems to fit the bill.

There was a cracked piece inside the back cover. Water leaked from it so we had to call a plumber who found the problem (cost $95), load it up and return it to the nearest store 25 miles away, then re-order a new one. We still don't have it yet.

Poor Product

Delivered in 2 wks after ordering it. I had to change the intake water connection from previous ice maker. Had a plumber come out to do this 2 days after delivery. It started leaking from within unit as soon as we hooked it up. We checked everything (water pressure fine, connections fine, etc). I tried returning it to store, not possible. Have to wait 2-3 weeks for pick up / refund. Poor Product and Service. Still waiting for pick up / refund.

Filter issues

No filter makes it hard to maintain, the inside gets dark and dirty real quick

Great value!

Recently moved and wanted a replacement for the KitchenAid we had. Wow! This makes ice nearly 3x as fast and holds nearly 2x more in the same space. Very happy and can’t wait to entertain again!

Great machine!

Plugged it right in and started making ice immediately. Has been working great. In a new construction circumstance get the specs before you set your cabinets. Just had to do a little modification to my drain line (in my house) to get it to hook up correctly.

The ice maker was easy to install, runs great and is not too noisy. Great deal for the price.

Kind of loud, but a smoking deal

Should have purchased higher end model!

Ice cube production stalls when cubes bump into last ones made; drain pump sounds like a barking bullfrog! Loud! And so is the sound of the ice dropping into the bin. Seems to melt a bit then re freeze into solid sheet. Not real happy with it.
