Great size for cooking large things.
I really like this pot and use it nearly every day. But beware of the inside of the handles where they attach to the pot. They are sharp and I've cut my fingers a couple of times. I'm going to try to sand it a bit to dull the edges and see if that helps.
Very flimsy and weird metaallic odor.
The pot itself is very flimsy, and I’m getting weird metallic odor from cooked food.
Good budget priced pot
While not a heavy top quality pot, I find it more than adequate for a weekend chef. The price is right for budget minded buyers not wanting to spend over a hundred dollars to cook pastas or a stew. The pot heats evevly and the handles are not hot to the touch, and the glass lid fit properly.
Christmas present to myself
I needed a stockpot to make soups for my family of 7 and this is perfect! I have used it several times and love it!! Not too big, not too small, just right. I love the glass lid-if you buy this you won't be disappointed!
Easy transport
At first I doubted that I can serve soup to 10-12 hungry young men using an 8-quart stock pot. I paired the soup with garlic cheese bread and it achieved the purpose.
