This was a good attachment to our shed. The only problem was that it didn’t withstand rain very well. Ours warped within a year.
Great little shed. Be prepared to spend some time with assembly or consider paying extra to have it done. Very sturdy if put together properly, looks like the picture. To preserve the wood, we put a poly stain on the entire piece. I think itll last longer this way. Just right for the yard tools )
I absolutely love this cabinet. We use it outside for our pool supplies. The only downfall to this cabinet is that it is pretty flimsy and is falling apart already. I love the cabinet so much that I will most likely add reinforcement to the cabinet to make it work
At first I thought this shed would be awesome. It is just the right height to not show under the fence and perfect width. I bought two.
The wood is so delicate. Very cheap wood. It came with two pieces of wood cracked. Had already Almost finished putting it together when we ran into the broken and cracked pieces. So, disappointing !!!
Easy assemble
Very easy assembly. It can be done by one person but it is much easier with two. Assembly is about 60-90 minutes (Instruction manual is all diagrams but all of the parts are accurately labeled)
Flimsy, thin wood. Not very stable without bolting to the ground or wall. Overly complicated to put together. Broken parts. Overpriced for what you get. Looks good but I wouldn’t recommend it.
It is already starting to lean, due to flimsy structure design. Rain has already warped the wood such that the latches no longer align and wood it too thin to support redoing screw holes. Third star because doors included magnets to help them stay shut; designers probably anticipated that flaw.
I was looking for a thin lean to shed to put next to the house but thin enough to not impact the walkway. The siding works perfect. I also like the design with shelfs on the left and A more open Space on the right side. To get 5 stars it would need to be a bit more sturdy. I added a few 2x4 in the inside to make it more sturdy and be able to hang tools on the right side of the shed.
I was worried about buying another cheap shed given my previous experience with building one. However, this time, I got a high school student to help me. Overall, we put it together in about 2 hours and 10 minutes and I’m very happy with it.
We love this shed. It felt a little flimsy while we were putting it together but once all the pieces were assembled, it feels nice and sturdy. I recommend you wait until the shed it placed in it's final location before adding the little locks below the handles though, because the shed can shift a bit if you put it on a slight slope and then the locks won't be aligned. It is definitely a two person job assembling it but we got it done in one easy afternoon.
Customer service was great when I had a problem with my order. It was a little tricky to pout together without assistance, but doable. It definitely isn't the quality of my $2,000 cedar shed, but it is good enough, looks nice, and is very functional. A perfect size for just a few of those garden things that I use all the time.
This is definitely not a sturdy, heavy duty shed. Like other reviews mention, the wood is VERY thin and flimsy. Looks wise, its great. But its definitely not waterproof and I can't imagine it would stand up to even moderate winter weather. Mine arrived missing one of the shelf pieces so I had to build that piece myself to connect the shelf. Overall, it works for my purposes, which was just some extra outdoor storage for my gardening supplies but if you are looking for reliable, weather proof storage, this flimsy shed isnt the one for you.
This is a pretty nice shed- perfect size when living in a community with backyard height restrictions. Manufacturing was sloppy. One piece had 2 separate areas damaged on one piece during manufacturing. No repaired it myself rather than dealing with a return. There was no information to contact manufacturer. Instructions were minimal with no written text - diagrams only. It helped to have 5he parts numbered. But it was assembled fairly easily by a 70+ year old grandpa with a bad back.
I purchased this cabinet to use indoors and it fits my needs perfectly. We easily put it together in an hour and it fits the rustic look in our cabin. However I would highly advise against purchasing if using outdoors as intended. The wood is very thin, cracks easily, and is wobbly. Everything about it screams made in china. I would give it 6 months exposed to the elements.
A bit of a pain in the neck to assemble, but that is why the cost is so reasonable. All the Styrofoam in the packaging is the biggest issue. But, they have to protect the product. Just wish they had a better option than that. Otherwise, the shed is as advertised. Solid wood, yes. But don't think that means heavy duty.
Don’t judge a book by its cover they say!
I’m giving this one star because for the description and price I was expecting something more sturdy. I bought this as a gift and it’s really unfortunate that I didn’t have more time to buy something else. This is not worth the price it is being sold for. It’s extremely thin wood like notebooks and post it note pads are thicker than the wood used for this. If I would have seen this at a store on display I wouldn’t have paid over $150 for it. I don’t expect that this item will last for more than a year because of how soft and thin the wood is. I don’t foresee the shelves being able to hold a jug of fertilizer without bowing and breaking after a while. It’s not fully painted and some of the panels were warped so you had to force things to line up so the seams would be tight. The only positive was that it was rather easy to put together even with the warped pieces. If you like wasting money on cheaply made pieces then buy this but if you’re looking for something that is of quality look at something else because this is not it.
It looks nice but not a very sturdy piece to use for tool shed. Definitely required 2 people to put together due to flimsiness of size walls and some pieces (see picture). Both side walls are two separate pieces and are not sturdy. Actually had to fabricate two prices of wood together to take the place of the thin pieces that were supplied. Side pieces need to be a solid wall instead in order to have durability. Probably not worth the money spent, but does look nice.
The shed is nice. It wasn't too difficult to put together. The wood isn't high quality but it's ample. It would have been nice to have typed directions and not just pictures. It looks great on our deck. We had to put cinderblocks on the bottom so it wouldn't topple. I would recommend this as an inexpensive tool shed.
