Difficult to put together.

Nice looking house. Just wish it was heavier and stronger. More durable.

Not very heavy duty. Dimensions described were not accurate for the sleeping space, it was the dimensions of the roof. Returned,

I think overall, it’s a great product and good styling, I ended up returning mine, because it was actually smaller than anticipated even though it’s for a large dog I have a Rottweiler

Disappointed

Right when I ordered it, I was having difficulties getting it here. For some reason, there was a problem with the address and I had to contact Chewy customer service to get it all sorted. Then the package got delayed for a couple days afterward. This house looks pretty good from a distance. It all arrived very neatly with clear labels on all the screws and stuff, but there were a couple of pages in the instructions that were a little confusing. The two side walls seem to be of different heights and not perfectly even, which is a bit problematic when it comes to the roof sitting on top. The roof does not have screw holes, but there are marks drawn of where they want you to put the screws on. However, the marks are not measured properly or something because I originally put the screws in those places but then the latch was too far back, so the roof could not be locked into place. The black asphalt of the roof extends about a centimeter around the bottom of the roof as well, which means that you have to align the roof just right over the walls to still be able to put screws in. The roof of this house is supposed to be able to flip open to access the inside as well, but the roof is so heavy that the flimsy little hinges and arms cannot hold it up. As soon as the roof was lifted up, the screws immediately got pulled out of the wood and the roof almost fell to the ground but I managed to catch it just in time. I tried to fill the holes a bit to screw the screws back in, but it came out again. I managed to fill in the holes and put the roof back on again. I am terrified of opening the roof anymore or of it possibly falling on my pet. I'm going to go to the hardware store to see if i can find some quality hinges for this product. The inside seems spacious. There are some scratch marks inside, so it's not very scratch resistant. It did hold up well in the rain and there was no sign of a leak, so that's good. Overall, I think a couple things could be improved. I'm not sure it's worth all the trouble.

So far, it is what I wanted.

I'm quite pleased with this dog house although I have brother and sister border collies that are one year old. I'm going to wait till they mature more because they will tear this up now. It's too nice a dog house to leave them ruin it. They are full of play now.

I’m very happy with my purchase!

I am taking care of a feral kitty in my neighborhood & bought the dog house for him. It’s situated out in my backyard in a corner among the bushes he seems to live in. I’m trying to tame him, slow process, & provide some shelter from the rain & colder weather. The dog house is very well made & sturdy. My neighbor helped out it together & he said how impressed he is with its construction. It looks great too!

Good home for my sulcata

My large sulcata would not fit anything smaller than this. Easy to assemble and parts included get the job done. You will need a Phillips screw driver though.

Very pleased with the doghouse. I have two mini Australian shepherds, perfect size for those two.

It looks like it will hold up to chewing dogs. However, the roof covering didn’t last a day. They pulled it right up, it is very thin. We glued regular shingles tightly on the roof and it is lasting.
