Much better than lava rock. Expensive though. It cost me around $1000 to put in my fire pit. Looks good though.

Pieces were smaller than I expected and lots of smaller broken pieces from shipping. Works for my fire pit though.

The glass pieces have very sharp edges and During the first use, small shards of glass shot out of the fire pit. We returned this product because we found it to be very unsafe.

I like the product, nice distribution of sizes and the color is great. Dislike the .47 cu ft. bag description. The actual volume of product is 0.16 cu. ft. (276 cu. in.) So I need to purchase a second bag to fill my gas fire pit. Please advertise the actual product volume not the possible volume the bag could hold or the weight, unless you include the product density. It's impossible to determine how many bags you need if you don't identify the actual volume of the product .

Fire Glass Order

This is my second time ordering with American Fire Glass and it’s been hassle free - great customer service. The glass was received in a timely manner and looks like it did on the website.

The larger chunks of glass 3/4" to 1" works best for our large propane fire pit

Like the glass much better than the lava rock our fire pit came with. Would have been 100% if we could have gotten blue glass. Like reflection and think we get more heat emitted as well.

Great Product and Easy to Use!

We just finished our patio and fire pit and used this lava rock to fill in our gas fire pit pan prior to adding fire glass. This helps save money, since the glass is much more expensive. So, essentially the lava rock was used as a filler. However, it is worth noting that this lava rock looked great prior to adding fire glass. It looked so good in fact that we considered purchasing more and use this only and not adding the fire glass at all. This lava rock is very light and a perfect size for filler. The color is more of a dark grey/light black (not a deep black), so just be aware of that. I'm happy with the size and weight. It is surprisingly light. I highly recommend!

The clear glass spruces up an inexpensive fire pit. Much more attractive than the rocks that came with the pit. I bought extras in case some. Came shattered but that was unnecessary. They are clear bright and unbroken

We love the mix of colors. We got 20 lbs and poured the fire glass on top of the lava rock that came with the fireplace in order for it to have more height. The glass fully covers the lava rock so that we only see the glass. Very pretty.

Very pretty but they turned black the first time we turned the fire on. We haven’t cooked anything over them but I’m afraid they will definitely be ruined once anything drips on them.

This glass is SO BEAUTIFUL! I replaced the glass that came with my outdoor fire table with this glass. I had seem this color in a fire table at a wedding reception. Now it is my go-to for all of the fire tables I reccomend!
