Safavieh Nightstands - Darker color in person

Exactly as seen in the picture with the exception of the color. It is darker in person. I was hoping for the lighter version closer to what the picture in the website. Everything else is great, though!

Where to start? These are heavy and pretty. Those are the only positives. It was packaged incredibly well, and there was NO damage during shipping. All issues that I refer to are manufacturing defects. I ordered two, and they both came damaged. Torn leather exterior, missing leg cap, stains on the left side of both, paint on the leather, unfinished paint in the shelf, and a piece of metal on the interior of the knobs, which made it impossible to screw in without tearing the leather. I replaced the knobs with my own. I got a replacement for the nightstand with the visible damage in the front. Overstock's customer support is fantastic! Unfortunately, the replacement had the worst of the paint stains, but I covered it with a piece of black fabric. The only reason I'm not returning the two I have left is because of the hassle. They're fine from a distance. Ultimately, this isn't worth the money. 3/3 had major issues.
