This is my first pair of plating tongs, and it works great! It's easy to clip, doesn't destroy small pieces, and is very easy to clean as well.
I like these but surprisingly not as much as the 9 3/8" curved plating tongs. These are a bit small and mostly only useful for plating but the larger ones work for plating as well so if I could do it again I'd just go straight for the larger tongs.
This makes plating easy and you can perform it efficiently and effectively with these plating tongs. The curved end is just the right size and it closes evenly. I would highly recommend these to every culinary arts student and chef.
