Table Design

Makes the table setting look elegant.

These placemats are so pretty! I like to use them on top of a white tablecloth. The silver brush strokes are an elegant touch! I am waiting for these to be restocked in the gold. I'll be all set with the silver and the gold for any occasion. These will also be beautiful on top of my mahogany table without a tablecloth.

Product is fine. SHIPPING IS HORRIBLE. Expensive 14x21 rigid linen placemats came CRAMMED in a 12x12x12 box resulting in embedded creases that had to be professional irons out. (Apparently shipped by Wayfair)

They were kind of blah. I thought the gold would be a bit more metallic, but it's mustardy. It might still set a nice table, but I wanted them for my bedroom. They seem well made, like canvas.

The color of the placemat is lighter than the pictures. There are couple of dots in the center of the placemat. Not sure if it’s deficiency.

These were larger then I thought but with the napkins and the pioneer flower napkin rings the sure made a beautiful spring table setting.

They are beautifully made with the right texture, not too light and not too stiff... Look stunning on my bar table....

Classy

High quality as Villeroy and Boch should be. Simple and modern design, yet so classy! I paired them with the matching napkins and they looked stunning. They did have a weird smell when I opened the package but it was gone after a quick cycle in the washing machine.

These placemats are casually elegant. Just what I wanted. Dress up the table or be more informal. They are great.

Nice placemats, well made, match napkins perfectly

These are nice, well made placemats. They are heavy enough that they don't scoot around on the table top. The metallic brush stroke border also adds weight which helps them lay flat. They match the napkins from this collection perfectly. I would not describe the metallic border as gold; it more closely looks like a golden bronze or a light bronze.

These were given as Gifts. The Quality and the Look is amazing. My Daughter In-law loves the gold that runs throughout the napkin. She's waiting for her first formal dinner party in her New Home.I just received a picture of how my daughter will use her Napkins. So I will send pictures as soon as the Dinner Party beings 🙂

Villaroy and Bochmetalic brushstroke placemats

I didn’t realize it had to be spot clean, I don’t know if they could be dry leaned. I would not have bought them if they were to be spot cleaned. They are placemats, how can you just spot clean? That wasn’t explained about the item.
