Perfect for Mexican train

We love to play Mexican train and the scorecards are great! The metal trains are a nice change from the plastic ones. We love the center piece too

Poor quality

We have played Mexican dominoes for many years with 2 different sets. The dominoes in this set were thinner %26 lighter weight and fell over easily. The dots were not as colorful as our older sets. Most of the dots looked like shades of gray %26 black which made it harder to visually distinguish which numbers were which. It gave us a headache. I painted the dots similar to colors from our previous sets. The case is nice. Same brand as our other sets, but poor quality in comparison.

Seriously such a fun game. I saw the dominos and judged this game thinking I wouldn’t like it, and that I’d rather play something else. It’s so fun. It’s like the quote don’t judge a book by its cover. I was wrong. This game is fun to play with two people or 6 . I’m telling you, you won’t be disappointed. It’s in my top 5 👏

Nice set

I just learned this game a couple of weeks ago. I ordered this set thinking is was the numbered set. So I am a little disappointed in myself and the game pieces being just dots, I wanted the numeral pieces. I am older and the numbers work better, you don't have to concentrate to hard. It will work.

Walmart app is deceiving

Walmart wants you to buy this onli even though it's in stock at the store. Then you have to go back to the store the same day to pick up the item but you could pick the value at the store. This is nothing short of deceiving the customerplane and simple. Then you have to wait over in the pick up area in the parking lot for them to bring out your item. Walmart is making this a big hassle they need to get their game together. Wal-mart you're better than this you could do a whole lot better.

thick and colorful

gave these as a gift to a family member who loves dominoes and they loved them. They aren't plastic they are ceramic, heavy duty, hugh quality and each number is a different color. Even folks with vision troubles did fine playing games with these because of the colors. Great purchase!

the game arrived quickly. Have had so much fun with it. Has a great carrying case that holds all parts. Tiles will last a long time bcs made with durable material. Wonderful family game.

First, The case pictured has a train on the front. I ordered for that reason. Mine came in as plain with no train. Second, The colors are terrible. They all blend in together. I was so excited to receive my order %26 Then it was a TOTAL let down.

Fun

Received so fast. My family recently went on vacation and discovered this game. The whole family could play. The 6 year old to the 60 year old. Ordered multiples so we all had them in our homes.

Not good!

My order of mexican train was delivered not in a box. How is that protected? Not happy!

attrtactive and well made. Instrutions included offer many varieties of play with the same set. More active than solitaire for 1 player and fun competition for up to 8. Game changes with each play so everyone stays focused and plans their next move.

I really think it deserved a 4.5 star rating. The set itself is very nice, and the case is great. This is a small thing, but I can't help comparing the trains on the set I own, different brand, to the colors of these, which aren't as pretty. One of my set's trains even has glitter in it too. The other thing that doesn't compare as well, is the instructions. The font is small, and was hard to read by the friend I gave the set to, a a gift. So I scanned the instructions and printed them larger. And the rules were different than the rules in my set, for example, always starting each round with the youngest player. Just little things like that. But the set itself is very good quality

Family Game Night is Back !

After receiving this product our area experienced some nasty winter weather. We had my parents with us and they taught us all the many games of Dominos, the kids love Mexican Train best. This set is awesome, it includes everything you need to enjoy a great family game night. Our youngest enjoyed building towers with the dominos and we even had math games with the older kids.The case is handy for keeping everything together and easy storage. With more families returning to traditional games when screen time is over , this Mexican Train Domino Set is a perfect addition . Although #wegotitfree we would not hesitate to purchase this for friends and family.

Awesome Family Night!

The Mexico Train Domino Set with Aluminum Kit was great family fun! Thank you #FamilyRatedClub and #SpinMaster! I love how all the pieces are contained in one durable container. The instructions on the other hand, were difficult to follow for the Mexican Train Dominos game. So, we opted to find other instructions. We were hooked on the game and thoroughly enjoyed playing the game many many times with my 2 kids (8 and 10 yrs). The dominos were made okay, not perfect, some imperfections (little holes on the back of the tile). Other than this and the confusing instructions, we totally enjoyed the set!

Great game for families

I received this game from #FamilyRatedClub for free, in exchange for an honest review. I played Mexican Domino Train with my 2 children (aged 9 and 12) and it was a huge hit! It was easy enough for my younger child to play without the help of an adult, and it was challenging enough to keep my older child engaged. The great thing about this game is that it can be played for a short amount of time OR a long time. The concept is easy for younger kids to grasp and understand. My younger child was happy that they didnt need to read or follow any hard instructions. As a teacher, I love using dominoes in games as it reinforces the concept of subitizing. Overall this is a great game that has quickly become a family favourite!

Just ok....

This is a cute little dominoes set. There are positives and negatives to it. Let's start with the positives: it has a cute carry case that fits everything nicely inside, the dominoes are large and feel decently made and durable, there are instructions for multiple domino games. Now for the negatives: if you are a novice domino player such as myself and family these instructions are insanely difficult to follow. We tried to play a few of the games and got frustrated and then just ended up making up our own rules and then went to the way we used to play with dominoes as kids and stood them up in patterns and then knocked the first one down to watch the rest fall. (This could be seen as a positive as there even more ways to play then what the instructions say... But if you want to play by the games provided they're kind of complicated. Next the inside of the case is lined and all the dominoes were covered in bits of floofy black material, which then got all over our hands and clothes and everywhere. Also some dominoes have random paint stuck on them, I can't get off. Overall it's a cute little set and I'm sure my kids will have fun playing with them. But Its not something I personally would reach for to play again. If the game instructions were clearer, I would have been happier with it. #spinmaster #familyratedclub

Family fun for everyone!

I havent played Dominoes in many years, and wasnt sure how much the family would enjoy this game. There were many different playing options, making it fun to try different ways to play. We loved the Mexican Train Dominos, as it was easy to learn and fun to play.

Fantastic set of Dominoes

Our kids loved game night when we pulled this out. Firstly, the packaging is fantastic - a hard silver case lined on the inside, with a latch to close it. No need to worry about a bent or broken box like other board games. One thing that really surprised us is that it came with instructions to play 16 different types of domino games (who knew there was more then one way to play - we didn't). Some of the games on there were too advanced for my little guys, but I think my 10 year old will love playing them in the future. The dominoes themselves are hard, well made and have a good weight to them (they were not cheaply made at all). Great game for young and older to play and the best part is because of the portable case it is easy to toe around, so this will definitely be coming with us next summer to our trailer to enjoy as well.

We have loved playing train dominos for many years with family but never had a set of our own until now. This set from Spin Master is a great one!
