Great piece, great color
We used this in a teal and red kitchen. The color was very close to how it's pictured, it was easy enough to assemble, and rolled easily. Roomy inside, drawer rolls easily, and the paper towel rack was helpful. Would buy again, and do recommend.
perfect for my kitchen
this kitchen cart is great. plenty of space for my stuff and looks so pretty in my kitchen. i love that i have space on the sides for my most frequently used spices. being able to move the cart around makes it easy to use when i am preparing food and baking so that i dont have far to go to get what i need. i can just roll the cart next to where i need it.
Not for a busy household
While this cart is cute finished, I am a bit concerned about its longevity. All the sides are particle board, and once assembled, I noticed that the fittings to butt joint the sides to the base are already cracking. Also noticed that many of the drill holes were mis-drilled for the casters and for the doors. Back is a different color red, unfortunate if you want to have it in the middle of the room. Top is a cheap finger jointed mystery wood, not terribly aesthetic, but okay. Also have one of the side shelves that was finished on the wrong edge and we were unable to flip it because of the way the holes for the fittings are drilled, leaving a rough edge facing out. I would not buy again. I just hope it holds on for 3 or 4 years. Don't recommend it if you are planning to move it frequently. Flimsy butt joints will not stand up to repeated moves. Also sloppy installation of the drawer slides. Had to remove them and adjust so that the drawer was not installed at an angle and twisted. Cheap hinges buckled on installation.
Nice cart for the money
I wanted a red cart for my kitchen and they are not easy to find. Most of them are very expensive. This cart was big enough to fit the space in my kitchen. I'm a 60-something woman, and I put it together by myself. I took the parts out of the box on my porch, as the box is too heavy for me to move. It took me a little more than three hours and only two glasses of wine (hmmm...did that slow me down a touch?). The cart rolls nicely, is very sturdy and meets my needs. If you are looking for extra storage/work space and want a pop of color, this is the cart for you.
4 Stars
This kitchen cart is exactly as seen in the pictures. It is very solidly built and sturdy. Construction was moderately easy, but patience is necessary. The instructions are easy to follow. The issues that I had are two of the bolt/nut combos were not well threaded and wouldn't work, and the prethreaded holes on the drawer side weren't placed well. Luckily extra hardware was included and I re-drilled the holes so it worked out ok.

Love this. Just the right size. Very nice cinnamon red with light oak top. I can use it as a mobile island, a serving cart, rolling bar/table and a baking station. I'm putting my cast iron pots as well as the baking sheets and cookie cutters. The drawer is great for measuring spoons and I think measuring cups will fit in there too. This will free up cupboard and counter space. I'd buy two if my kitchen was bigger. Easy to put together!

This is a wonderful little cart if you just need extra space. Does not take up much room and looks really nice. Perfect for what I needed. The reason I gave it a 4 star instead of a 5 is that the back panel has a crack in it in and the reds do not match on the back panel so makes it look a little weird. I would ask for a replacement piece but it would mean taking it apart to put a new one in. I would recommend this but check it closely before putting together.

Just received this unit. The color is two different colors of red.I was hoping for a system that was very sturdy. A little disappointment in the assembly and variation of colors. Love that it has wheels. I would not pay full price for this unit, but it should be listed under $100.00! ...this kitchen cart leaves me somewhat satisfied. The pulls Are nice.....

Upon assembly, the flat back of this unit was cracked and had to be discarded. I managed to stain and seal some doorskin to get a similar shade of red, however I managed to get a closer color match than some of the other included parts did. There's a big color variance in this piece. It also off-gassed so badly for about 3 months that we couldn't put it in the kitchen (not due to my improvised panel btw). In use, I've found that the screw covers pop off all the time, and the unit already displays stress fractures and swelling in the particleboard (it is not solid wood at all) where the sides of the cabinet meet the base. I have also had to rebuild the drawer twice as the parts pull apart during use (and yes, I used glue in the construction.) Hinges holding the doors on are also prone to slippage, leaving you with crooked doors that don't shut correctly until they're re-tightened. Overall, this unit is a disappointment considering the price and difficulty assembling, and the number of repairs I have had to make, and will have to make in the future.
Bad mismatched color and doors too small
Basically I love the design of this cart, but the quality was lower than expected. it was not red, but a brownish red, except for on the back of the cart where it was both brown and red. Crazy! Also the doors do not come together in front, but leave a half inch gap where you can actually see into the cupboard. Because I needed this, I repainted it before I used it, got it all one color red, and decided to ignore the gap in the doors. Very disappointed in the quality.
Nice cart but...
Absolutely love the red color of the cart. Very sturdy and functional. However directions are a bit difficult to follow at times. Took 2 of us ( who have built things before) approximately 5 hours to assemble. Some people said they did it alone but I don't see how that is possible. We got it all together fine except for the left door which we just could not get installed correctly. We finally figured it had to be out of square so I emailed the address given on the instructions to ask for a new door to be shipped. So far I haven't even heard back from them. I hope I can get a new door! I would have given the cart a higher rating had the door fit properly. Still very pleased with the look of the cart! We are using it as a TV stand in our kitchen.
As good as expected after reading reviews
This cabinet is nice to look at. Most of the previous reviews mention the same issues. A shallow scratch on the door. A pretty noticeable gap between the doors of over 1/2 an inch. No magnets to hold the doors closed. Getting the doors to hang evenly is almost impossible. It does take 2 people to assemble it, but it says that on the instructions. Only time we needed 2 ppl was when it needed to be flipped over to complete the assembly. Overall it came out pretty nicely. I'd buy a similar item again.
So Much Fun!
I really love my new kitchen cart. The photo is accurate it is the perfect shade of kitchen red, not "fire engine red" which I worried about. I am very good at assembly, and this did take a bit of work. I did it on my own. If you are not mechanically inclined, get a friend to help. It took about 3 1/2 hours. Well worth the effort - sturdy - looks great! I am actually using it as a mini-mud-room to hide all my gardening shoes and tools by the kitchen door!
Delightful color, good design, decent quality
For the cost I don't think you'll regret the purchase. Wheels roll well, useful size without being too big, feels pretty solid, and its quite nice to look at., ,,,, , ,,,,,,,,,,,,, Things to note:, ,,,,,,,,,,,,, 1) A piece was missing when it first arrived. Manufacturer contact was listed in the instructions, they were easy to deal with, and sent the missing piece with no fuss, ,,,,,,,,,,, , ,,,,,,,,,,,,, 2) Only two of the wheels lock, and the locks are a stiff and a little frustrating. , ,,,,,,,,,,,, , ,,,,,,,,,,,,, 3) The back is made of masonite instead of MDF, so its thinner and more likely to chip or be damaged. The bottom of the drawer is also made of masonite., ,,,,,,,,,,,, , ,,,,,,,,,,,,, 4) The red lacquer smells exactly as you would expect, but fades in a day or two. I suspect the cart is packaged as soon as the lacquer dries. , ,,,,,,,,,,,, , ,,,,,,,,,,,,, Overall, a good buy. I don't regret it, and I doubt you would either.
Serves my purpose
This cart is overpriced for the quality. Would have expected to pay about $$$USD less. I purchased it to store all my baking supplies and it does that with excellence. It was a little difficult to make sure it remained stable while putting it together. Be sure that each joint is as tight as possible, but not so tight that the wood splits. It is made of hardwood and thin, flimsy manufactured wood. Looks great in my kitchen and gives much needed storage area. Overall I'm very pleased with my purchase.
Not what I expected.
The red color on the front of this cart is a rich pretty red. However, the color on the back does not begin to match the color on the front. If your cart is going to sit out in the kitchen so both front and back can be seen, you may want to reconsider this purchase. The top looks more like a thin board than a butcher block top. I think these two things cheapen the look of this cart. However, I really like the spice rack and the shelf inside. If I had seen this cart assembled, I probably would not have bought it.
sturdy, pretty,functional
Love this cart !! Looked at many before deciding, and went with the red being on sale. Took a few hours to put together, but i always find it gratifying to assemble my own furniture. Solid wood, only things that isnt as sturdy as i hoped is the drawer, i just wish it would pull and push a little smoother. Cabinet is a decent size for extra storage and perfect for extra fridge sized water coolers. Wheels are sturdy, not the cheap plastic kind, cart rolls smoothly and easily locks in place too. Side towel bar perfect, now my child can actually reach the paper towels. And the side racks are very convenient for frequently used items . Buy this one, you won't be disappointed !!
