Not at all what I expected

Looked like it had been an original product from the 80's or 90's - product casing included, but it was not the same one I had been buying all along. Plus when I put it to wash I ended up spending 1/2 a day vacuuming my washer to ensure the bits and pieces of the blanket would not clog my machine. What a mess. Anyway, cest la vie, but I know better now.

Good and very Thin

This is not the Vellux of old. The original were very thick and soft. These are almost sheet thin. However, surprisingly they are very warm. This brand is better quality than many other brands. Because these are so thin they are easy to wash and I am substituting them for regular sheets because they are as snuggly as the heavy cotton winter sheets are but almost feel silky. Am satisfied with the purchase but still miss the Vellux of old.

Okay blanket

Feels a little like a “fake” blanket. Not sure how to describe the texture sort of like plastic. It is somewhat soft and keeps warm. Don’t know if I would use for kids bed. Currently on guest bed

Disappointing. Waste of money.

Definitely not the same as the “Vellux” blanket I had from years ago. Texture is different. Feels the same as any other thin fleece blanket which I could have gotten a lot cheaper if that’s what I was looking for. The only reason I didn’t return it was because my son liked it and wanted to keep it. If you’re looking for the vellux blankets from years ago, this is not it. Very disappointing.

Vellux blankets are the best!

I've been using these blankets for over 30 years, the fabric has changed somewhat over the years but I continue to buy them. They are the best, especially for people like me who run hot at night. I have several colors and some in the cotton material as well, they are all wonderful.

Read item description carefully

I thought I was getting a Vellux blanket with the foam sandwiched between the soft blanket but maybe Vellux doesn’t make them that way any longer? This one is OK. It’s just not what I expected.

Disappointed at myself..Read before purchasing!!

Didn’t read the description. I saw Vellux but neglected to read fleece. Obviously I washed the blanket it’s extremely thin but soft. I’ll probably keep it because I didn’t read what was clearly stated.

The blanket arrived in a timely fashion as its a gift for Christmas. The description matched the item. The color was a little off but I attribute that to the device I ordered it on. The Vellux brand is reputable for quality and durability. I am happy with this purchase.

Horrible lints after washing

I always washed my beddings before using it. After washing it had just so many lint all over, I washed it again with the detergent I always use, tide, used Downy infusion and the lint doesn’t go away. I shaken the blanket and nothing. I made the mistake of buying 2 whites, 1 green, 1 blue and 1 gray. I don’t have total 5- I bought them for my Christmas guest rooms. Now I wasted my money as I have to buy others ones. I don’t know if I can return them without the original package and time expired☹️ Please let me know if I can’t get credit and buy better quality ones🧐

I ordered this for my mom because she is always cold. And now we have had to move her to our living room on a hospital bed, which is the coldest room in the house. And to make it worse the only place we were able to put the bed was alongside the front windows. So needless to say that the past week after she came home she slept with not only a sheet, but 2 hospital blankets, a thicker blanket, as well as 2 throw blankets. I felt so bad for her with all that on her. So when I saw your blanket while ordering my groceries on Walmart.com I said I had to get it and at least see if it will work. So when it came in, I took it out of the package and was showing it to mom. She was already trying to take all the other blankets off, so I helped her to put her new blanket on and told her that if she needed another blanket let me and I will put one of the hospital blankets back on after I get them washed. But to my surprise she was completely comfortable. Completely so that I caught her with her leg and arm out from under the covers. And she has not done that in a long time. Thank you so much for helping keep my mom warm without having to completely weigh her down. You have made us 2 very happy customers.

Color is not white, it’s cream unfortunately.

Unfortunately it’s not a white. It’s more or cream color. Disappointed in color but otherwise it’s nice as far as you wash it by itself and as recommended. Second set came stained and Walmart did good job refunding. Please sell these blankets in whites so we could use bleach specifically for rental property.

I purchased the dark gray and was pleased with the color. They are a lot thinner than I had hope. While being thin helps with washing, it didn’t help with the warmth like I had hoped. This is more of a spring/ fall weight blanket. I was looking for a thicker winter blanket.

Unreliable!

The blanket I received is not as described. The dimensions are 60" x 90", but should have been 90" x 90". Also, I ordered a dark gray color, but received an off white. This was a very disappointing purchase. The only thing right was it IS a lightweight blanket.

Exactly What I Needed

I needed an extra layer on the bed. Normally I'd just toss one of the fleece throw blankets on my side of the bed, but then I'd be short a blanket on the couch (the window is very drafty behind the couch) and the small blanket wouldn't stay stretched out over all me throughout the night. I don't like thick, bulky blankets because my washing machine/dryer can't handle them when they need cleaned. Decided to buy this blanket using some gift card money and it's perfect for my needs! It fits my Queen bed correctly, though there's not a lot of overhang on each side if you like your blankets a bit oversized. It's soft and keeps me warmer than using the fleece throw; I no longer need to wear a sweater over my pajamas even on our negative temperature nights. Haven't tried washing it yet, but it hasn't shed from use and it feels well made so I don't suspect an issue.

This blanket is light and cozy. It is exactly what we needed for this winter season over the top sheet, and under our quilt. The baby blue color pairs well with our multi-bluegray bedding, and our bedroom theme. Some reviews complained about the stitching, but the blanket we received was well crafted.

i ordered this and got a completely different blanket. same company jist different color and size. i ordered the dark blue twin and got a light blueish gray king for the price of the twin. i love this blanket so much i dont know how it got mixed up but teust me i am happy about it. so soft and comfortable!! and it's very thick

I was disappointed that this Vellux blanket did not feel the same as the Vellux blankets I have had in the past. True, it has been several decades since I had my last Vellux brand blanket~but I distinctly remember the feel. This "new" Vellux just isn't the same. Manufacturer changed, no doubt. Or they found a cheaper way to make the blanket. I kept this blanket but it surely isn't what the brand once was.

Target Team Member finds friend and new bedding with Target Circle

I like white bedding. It brightens the bedroom and it blends with other colors, creates the right light. Searching with Target Circle suggestions, related searches and products to consider gave me direction. When I decided on the Micro Fleece Bed Blanket in Star White and paired it with White Jersey sheets from Threshold, I liked the fleece and jersey. When they arrived I saw that the whites worked. Late Spring, early Summer, renewal. It feels great.

Super happy with this purchase!

I was not sure if I would really like this as it is a light blue that I purchased. Normally I prefer medium shades. It grew on me very fast. It is warm and light-feeling. It looks very attractive on my bed. I am beyond pleased that I ordered this and do wish that they came in more colors. Would buy more if needed. Puchased King Size for my regular King Bed and it fits well.
