Love This Rug!

I recently bought this rug, and it's been a great addition to my space. The colors are vibrant and match the description perfectly. It feels soft underfoot and has a nice, plush texture. The quality is solid, and it hasn't shown any signs of wear or shedding. It was easy to place and stays put without slipping. Overall, it's a stylish and comfortable choice for any room. Do Not Waste Your Time With This SHEDDING Rug

Do not purchase this rug. As several other reviewers have mentioned, it sheds EVERYWHERE. Small particles are all over my floor, clothing, pets, and couches. I have a vacuum with VERY strong suction and have vacuumed it numerous times with very little improvement of shedding. Why is this product being sold or shipped this way? Extremely disappointed and frankly feel scammed. I have waited to see if shedding would stop after continued vacuuming and am now likely beyond any return window, so also feel cheated. A pure waste of hard earned money. Just don't.

I Love It!

I am so happy with my new rug! It is exactly what I was hoping for. The pattern, color and quality are all perfect. The color is a pretty creamy beige color with grey mixed in. It is definitely not white or cream, but actually light beige. If you are looking for a light cream or white this is not the rug for you, but I absolutely love it. I have a beige sofa and a cream sofa, so I included a picture with both sofas for comparison. The picture with the cream sofa came out a little darker than the rug actually looks in person. I have white walls and white oak floors and this rug pairs beautifully with them. The rug is soft to walk on even without a rug pad, but if you wanted it to be extra plush you could use a rug pad. I haven't had any issues with shedding and there was no smell when I unfolded it. It had some fairly large creases from being folded, but it was perfectly flat within two days. I ordered the 9 x 12 light grey/ivory and I would highly recommend it. It would pair well with traditional or modern decor. The pattern is subtle but interesting enough that it's not boring. Just all around a great rug!

I’ve ordered several rugs made by safevieh and never had an issue with them coming apart until this rug. Loops of the wool are coming up all over the rug. My friend has this rug in her house and doesn’t have the issue . I didn’t purchase the warranty and don’t know if it comes with one. It is a beautiful rug as long as you don’t have allot of traffic. Mine is in our living room so we walk on it constantly. I’m just a bit disappointed in the quality of durability.

SIMPLY GORGEOUS! Beautiful muted colors, just like the photos. There is some slightly darker outlining, which shows some dimension. It’s very pretty. Closed loop pile, which I prefer, as it wears well. Spills have cleaned up amazingly well. My teacup Yorkie spilled a whole latte on it, and it cleaned up well with paper towels and Emergency Stain Rescue,***

Very happy with this rug. Have a dog and have put a blanket over the rug as the last rug I bought for this room got picked threads and I want to keep it clean. The color is light but looks wonderful in this room. Used the other rug in a bedroom. Do not think this will happen with this rug but am taking no chances as the other rug was only 2 years old. Very prompt service and ordered a smaller rug see the quality and it has been credited back with no problem. Will definitely be buying from Bed Bath and Beyond again.

With our wooden floors finally completed, we put this rug down in our master bedroom yesterday. I absolutely love it! It is beautiful. The colors and patterns are softly muted. It laid flat almost immediately due to the fact that it is heavy and substantial. Pleasantly, this rug far exceeded my expectations.

Update on this review, I had previously gave it a 4 star and now giving this a 1 star. Due to wood pieces embedded in the wool. I stubbed my foot into a large wood piece. My son got a splinter in his heel due too sharp wood pieces in the rug. I would return it but the return would cost me half what I paid for to get the rug. I wish I would have taken pictures of both occurrences but as they happened 2 weeks apart I thought it may have been a fluke. Avoid the trouble buy chenille or polyester/man made material.

Exactly what I was looking for…..

Based on other reviews, was hoping this would track teal to match a new sofa purchase. I am very happy with the result. Hard to see from my pic, but does lean toward teal when paired with the sofa. Color is pretty true to website image although the center medallion and corner pieces may be slightly darker tan but still very neutral. Arrived, folded, and very well packaged. Directions said to roll and leave for 24 to 48 hours. After unrolling, rug laid perfectly flat. No discernible odor that can sometimes happen with a rug purchase. Very pleased!

Best 100 percent wool mico-loop rug ever!

This rug is the most beautiful! I am so impressed with the look and high quality of this rug. It is absolutely perfect in my living room and blends so nicely with my furniture. My furniture is a light grey linen weave and the new rug is cream tone mico-loop with flecks/lines of light grey. This is 100 percent wool and I did not even need a backing. I am totally happy with this rug. Previously, I did have a high-grade jute rug but jute cannot be cleaned of (doggy) pet stains. So I switched gladly to this much higher quality rug and no pets are allowed....except for my cat, who rules.

Simplistic beauty

This rug exceeded expectations! I'm always leery ordering rugs online but this one was what I was hoping for. The quality is exceptional and beautiful in design. The weave is simplistic and subtle based on the light color but it's enough to give texture and contrast. I ordered 10x12 for a long bedroom and it warms the hardwood right up. If your drawn to this rug do not hesitate. Worth every cent! I've added photos in bright light and warm evening light so you can see the difference. Beautiful in both!

Better quality control at the Safavieh factory

The 9x12 measures 8'8.5"x12' to be exact. The wool quality appears good so far. Have had it for a three weeks. We had to return the first one as it had in one part pieces of orange plastic rope woven into the rug. Other parts you can see blue and pink strands of material woven in. It was too obvious and weren't satisfied so we made a request for an exchange. Overstock made the process go fairly smooth. The new one we received shows in a few places very slight pieces of pink material woven in but it's not noticeable unless you put your face close to the rug. There are a couple spots that have glue splotches on top of the rug as well. Since it's not that noticeable and that part is going under the couch, we're deciding to keep it this time. There just needs to be better quality control during manufacturing. Other than that, we've been looking locally and couldn't find a rug we were satisfied with. This was the look we wanted in our living room. We give it an honest 3 stars.
