Reviews

I will split the review into 2 parts: about the bed and about the Fedex delivery.

Nice Style

I really like the style of this frame. We did struggle aligning up the drilled holes however.. I have noticed over a few weeks how squeaky it has become when I move at all!! Overall it works for me.

Love the aesthetic but the headboard is not very sturdy and wobbles. We had this bed frame before and the headboard and legs were one piece so the last one was much sturdier. Love the wood and fabric together and the fabric is a good quality. It took two people to put it together and the assembly was tedious.

Love this bed! It looks very elegant, and the foundation is the most sturdy, rock-solid of any bed I've ever owned! Don't pay attention to the negative reviews--these are people who clearly do not understand that whenever you purchase a large piece of furniture, at a great price, with free delivery, the tradeoff is that, yes, you will have to spend some time putting it together and, yes, that will be frustrating. As a guy who is reasonably handy and competent, I seem to ALWAYS put something together upside down or backwards, then I have to go back and undo/redo some or all of the assembly. But I put this bed together alone with little difficulty in about an hour.

Sooooo, the bed is nice. Real wood, solid joinery. On the downside, one of the legs had a black ink/stain material on the bottom. I unfortunately didn't notice until the frame was assembeled and I slid it across the floor . . . it left black marks and tracks on my NEW white carpet. The marks did not come out with carpet soap, dishwashing detergent, laundry detergent or 409. Finally used paint thinner to remove and immediately cleaned with my Rug Doctor so as not to ruin my carpet . . . .this is the 2nd thing I've bought from Wayfair and both had serious quality control issues . . . .don't think I'll be spending any more $$ here.

This is a pretty terrible bed and I’m bummed we didn’t return it. When we received it, the slats were an inch too wide to fit. Wayfair send they could send us the right ones but it was going to take a month. So instead they have us 15% back and I spent a morning cutting 1” off every slat. We finally got it put together and it’s fine for like 2 nights. Since then, the support legs have collapsed 3 times. I’ve re-installed them using L brackets but the last time the whole middle board just twisted and the legs came out from under it. I think the root of the problem is that the support legs are too short so the entire weight of the bed is supported on little leveling feet the size of a dime. All of the screws in the support slats have come out because they’re only long enough to go like 1/4” into the wood you’re screwing into. So tomorrow I’ll be going to get longer wood screws and to find a solution for the support legs but I’m real annoyed about it. The bolts at the base of the headboard also stick out past the headboard so it’s made gouges in the wall. Pass on this. Even though I have to admit, it looks really good.

Overall the wooden bed frame was moderately easy to put together. There were a couple of nicks here and there mostly around the corners but aren't really that noticeable. The turnaround time was surprisingly quick. As a matter of fact, it arrived earlier than expected. I'm pretty much a satisfied customer. Thank you.

I got a good price at Home Depot, so for the money, I give it 4 stars. One of the front corners already had a small chip, but it’s for my 13 year old son and there will probably be more, so it will work. The headboard does have a lot of give to it if you are intentionally pushing on it, but otherwise it seems fairly secure. The fabric is a little cheap looking up close. But overall it’s a decent structure and solid bed with a modern look.
