They are exactly as shown online. The size is perfect for counter height. I ordered three of them. Hubby had all three together in about 90 mins. They were packaged well. One little mark on one of the legs which I used a furniture marker on. They swivel very smoothly. I highly recommend this barstool.
I bought two of these for my home, I got so many compliments on them, comfort and style, I then bought two more for a housewarming gift for . my son.

This style fit perfect in the house. They complement the cherry wood kitchen cabinets. I was able to put all 6 stools together myself, 70+F. Instructions were easy to follow. And my goodness the packaging!! Everything was shipped in soft foam packaging that was sewn around each piece. I hope they stay good-looking in years to come.
The instructions on how to assemble were easy. Keeping it together was the hard part. This chair is not made sturdy enough for it to stay together. The screws that attach to The C circle are not long enough therefore, not giving the chair any support.
The design of this bar stool is unique and fits my counter perfectly. The seats are dark chocolate brown and true to color in the photo. The veneer wood is also very pretty. I would say the comfort level of the bar stool is OK--seats are a little stiff, but overall I am happy with the product and enhances the look for my new kitchen/family room area.
