Reviews

This was just what we needed to convert our grandsons crib. My only issue were the instructions; they should be clearer on which screws to use. Rather than trial and error. But overall, he/we are happy and he had a good nights sleep in his Big Boy Bed.

Not compatible with Graco bed

Doesn’t work with the Graco Benton convertible bed. Misleading and disappointing from a Graco “universal” rail.

Good Transition from original Crib Rail

Two guardrails work best to help prevent our child from rolling off the crib. We have to be careful and make sure not to apply too much weight onto the rails because they look like they might break if bent to far.

incorrect screws

this rail was pretty easy to assemble.. however, the screw to insert on the side rail of the crib/toddler bed doesn't fit. not the 2 they provided (to lose to fit), the old ones that worked with the crib rail are too long.

poor craftsmanship

5 in 1 was not 5 in 1 crib. Had to purchase rails extra to make into a toddler bed. rail is junk for $60

Great except missing two top front corner pieces

Everything worked great with the assembly, except that when we removed the crib front to switch it to the toddler bed, it now is missing two top front corner pieces. It looks a little bit silly and is kind of sharp. If I had these two connector pieces, it would be great! It’s just frustrating they’re not included in a universal kit, and I can’t seem to find them anywhere online.

Misleading

Does not attach to the graco remi. There are no mounting holes on the posts or stabilizer bar to screw into. Time to get creative. Very disappointed.

Defective for Hadley crib

Defective for the Hadley crib as described. Bought four different ones thinking maybe one would work. None of them do. The screw for the side doesn’t line up to the post by almost 1/4”. If it’s not meant for the Hadley description should be updated.

This part was what I was looking for, at a competitive price, and fastest delivery. Unfortunately, an additional piece (stbilizer bar) is also required in order to attach this, but no longer available from manufacturer so I have been unable to use it yet. I will continue to search - or make my own.

Perfect!

Fits perfect on the Grace Story 5 in 1. There are two set of screws (1) is metric and the other is imperial, we accidentally used the metric ones first without paying attention and quickly realized why they sent (2) sets. Other than that they work perfectly and our son loves his “new” bed

Shameless pricing. Poor craftsmanship.

like other reviewers have mentioned, buying two of these rails for $140 is ridiculous. Also, the holes didn't line up with the crib. I wasn't able to insert the screws all the way in because I would have stripped them.

Question about compatability

We have have the Graco Hadley and 2 Graco Asheville cribs. We bought this for the Hadley. It was easy to install; however, when my husband removed the front “wall” of the crib to install the guardrail, we realized the “caps” (for lack of a better word) on the front top corners were gone. It basically leaves the two top corners exposed. Is this supposed to happen? I know all of our cribs are compatible with this guardrail so I’m surprised at how unfinished our crib looks now upon installation. Is there a solution for this? Picture included to demonstrate concern.

Color difference, expensive

Bought this for my child’s Graco Hadley crib in pebble grey per the website recommendation. The color is lighter than the original crib color so I’m a bit dissatisfied with that. It is also expensive for how small it is.

Not as good as expected

These were unfortunately not as good of quality as I was expecting at this price point. There is some splintering of the wood and strips of bare wood where paint didn’t get in due to the rough texture in some places. One of the splinters pealed all the way down the side of the rail. I will probably keep these because they were relatively easy to install and there aren’t too many alternatives. I got a 5-in-one crib from Graco so I wouldn’t have to buy a separate toddler crib but it might have been cheaper to go that route than to spend so much on these rails. I love Graco products but this one is really not up to their usual standard of quality.

Poor quality control for a baby/toddler product

I bought this crib rail to go with my child's convertible Storkcraft crib. After reading other reviews for this crib rail, I decided to buy 2 rails to help keep my child from falling out of the bed. The Storkcraft brand also shows the crib with 2 toddler rails on its website. After ordering 3 sets of 2 toddler rails, I am highly disappointed in Graco's quality control. There are areas of split wood, poorly painted wood, & dented wood. All of the rails have a rough connection point between the upper horizontal board that is curved and the first vertical board. After receiving this 3rd set, I have decided to keep the 2 best looking rails. I will be sanding the rough connection points and painting them myself.

Ripoff

The product details are misleading. You need to purchase two of these for a crib. They don't come together as a set. $140 for a tiny pair of railings is absolutely insane. Misleading details and product.

Great feature

I bought this for my grand baby so it can grow with and paid almost $250 for the crib and then when I start putting it together and wondered where the guard rails were. Shoot you have to order this stuff separately. $59.00 a peace for each rail. They shouldn’t advertise it like that cause all the parts ain’t there.

Ive been waiting for this guardrail for

Ive been waiting for this guardrail for over 8 month. Call the company multiple time and they keep on giving me different dates and month for its arrival. The whole reason why I purchased the Storkcraft Orchard 5-in-1 was because I was able to convert It to a toddler bed. My baby is climbing out her crib by now and had to just put the mattress in the floor. I will never recommend or ever purchase anything from this company ever again.

Unfortunately I feel like I need to purchase another, one for each side because it’s not very long at all. It’s doesn’t even come close to reaching the middle of the bed. My daughter and a flipper and this tiny rail is not holding her in the bed. It looks adorable on the bed but totally a waste of money for its purpose.
