Used to be great, now cheap garbage

I purchased a set of these almost 20 years ago. They are great. Wanted to add to my collection for when I have guests over so I purchased another set. When they arricved I was instantly dissapointed. The new glasses are much thinner, lighter, feel cheaper, and the etchings arew barely noticable. Especially compared to the older ones. This company went from premium and impressive to cheap garbage. Sad. Look elsewhere.

Disappointed !

I bought these before and they were much heavier and the etching more pronounced. These are clearly cheapened and show that. Not the Mikasa quality i used to love.

Not worth it.

they look nice & bottom heavy but the top is super light & thin. one broke while I was washing it for the first time. I will be returning.

Collector of Mikasa Glasses

I love these glasses. I have many different ones that I actually use for my daily glasses. I have the shot ones two. I guess I'm a collector at this point!

I have several sets of these double old fashion glasses. I have really enjoyed them and added a couple more sets recently. Unfortunately they arrived broken. However, the customer service was excellent and Mikasa very quickly replaced the sets. I recommend these glasses, but they are pretty heavy and don’t fit very well in a small hand.

Good value for money and very nice tumblers. We had similar ones from a supermarket in France but they have all broken in general use and we couldn't find any that were as nice until we found the Mikasa ones. Love them, they are in use almost every day.

Pretty, but easily damaged

Like the design and have bought this set several times over the years. This set, so handled the same as the others, has already one cracked and one broken glass in dishwasher.

Not the same, not nearly as good ....

Much more lightweight ... lower quality. We've ordered many of these over the years and the comparison between the older ones we still have and these most recent ones is quite different. Not even sure they were produced by the same company as the original glasses. Sad.

Nice but desire better packaging

Appear to be quality glasses. The only negative is the packaging. I was expecting the glasses to be seated in a keepsake box made specifically for these glasses not generic brown cardboard.

Perfect cocktail glasses

Beautiful designs etched on each glass to differentiate one from the other. They are the perfect weight for a nice cocktail glass.

Glasses were already broken upon arrival

The glasses were broken inside the box when the UPS delivery person arrived at our front door (broken glass sounds were unmistakable). The delivery person from UPS signed a form that indicated they, the shipper, took responsibility, and they kept the box, presumably for return to Mikasa. We are waiting to see when Mikasa will refill the order.
