Durable and fun
We have had this train now for over three years and it has been solid. We bought it when my daughter had just turned 2 and she used it until she outgrew it a few months ago. She figured out the peddle quickly and the battery lasts forever on a charge and it runs just fine on a tile or hardwood floor without the track. She ditched the track a long time ago and just uses it to ride around the house. I wish they made a bigger one so she could still use it.
Do Not Buy
I bought two of these for my granddaughters and it does not work. Do not buy! The train doesn’t even fit properly on the tracks so it does not go.
TURN IT OVER!!
Everyone that says it does not work didnt flip the switch that says batter powered vs foot powered on the bottom. Duh. Also it goes SO SLOW that is why 4 stars. Seriously. It needs a charger so it has a more power than 6 D batteries.
Fun and safe train
This Minnie Mouse train was a gift for our two year old granddaughter and she just received it yesterday on her birthday. She loved it and it seemed easy to put together although my son, who put it together, said the directions were a bit difficult since they were in black and white and didnt differentiate the color tracks. It moves slowly which is perfect and Eloise loved it. Great value and we are pleased.
Rubber band the foot pedal
My daughter loves this train! I see a lot of people had problems with the train not moving. There is a little foot pedal for them to push to make the train go. My daughter is to young (1 years old) to understand to keep her foot on the pedal. I took a rubberband and wrapped it around the pedal. Works great! There aren't any instructions for the train, which is a bit of an inconvenience. We have a large yard and want to purchase extra track. However it doesn't seem they sell it. I emailed the manufacturer kiddieland and they will send me extra track, I just have to pay shipping. Score! All in all, the battery could last a little longer. However this product is great for littles!!!
Great Toy
great toy for my granddaughter she loves it. I had to buy three of them to get enough track to go around the circle in my house which is what i wanted to do so as to give her more room to ride the train. I have wood floor so the track will slide on it unless I was to glue it down but no way not on my wooden floors so I just follow her around for when she jumps track and every train will jump track but she is learning to get back on track herself all in all great toy it would be nice if the company sold track by its self, don't really need three locomotives but her little friend will have one to ride.
Cute but doesn't really work
I purchased for my baby's 1st bday and right after assembling we realized the train won't go. We have to shake it a bit. My baby is little and doesn't care so I won't send it back but that part is disappointing for the price. Its otherwise very cute and makes all the noises
Minnie Mouse Train with Caboose
My 13 month old daughter loves the train!!!! My 6yr old likes the train as well. She rides on it. The train can hold weight up to 50+ pounds. The caboose to the train detaches from the train. That’s if you don’t want the caboose on. The caboose has a lid for her to put toys in! It makes the sounds of a train which makes it all the better.
She loves her train
I purchased this Minnie Caboose for my granddaughter December 2017 she was 9 mos old she is now almost 3 year's old and it still her favorite toy and believe it or not still works. Mostly just turn it on for the noise/talking. I believe she is to heavy for it now because it goes really slow on the tracks. But needless to say it still does everything it did when it was brand new. Batteries finally died today hence why I am on site trying to find out where to buy battery from almost 3 years later with constant use. Very surprised and pleased.
Dont waste your money.
I wouldnt spend the money on this, the train does not go around the tracks well at all. It gets hung on the curves of the track. My daughter weighs 23lbs at 17 months old and it barely drives. We bought it as a christmas present and will be re boxing to return. The buttons and sounds are amaizng, just like a train, but the build could have been thought out more.
JUNK JUNK JUNK
DO NOT BUY! everything everyone is saying IS TRUE! daughter just opened it for christmas BRAND NEW OUT OF BOX and its broken....back wheels one ONE turns. I'm beyond mad! it's cheap and a total waste of money! DO NOT BOTHER!!!
Poor design, doesnt work well at all.
Great idea, flawed execution.
Bad business
This train is a bunch of crock it needs to be banned from all stores, the train doesn’t even fit on the tracks, it only glides on the straights and as soon as it gets ready to go into the curve it stops or derailes then u have to push it until it hit the straight away. I purchased two of these contraptions for my grand babies and it broke there hearts that they couldn’t enjoy this train. I will take them back tomorrow ASAP for a refund nothing but a waste of time and heartache.
Don't waste your money.
We bought this for my daughter's 2nd birthday, its definitely not worth purchasing. We tried it first straight out of the box because she wanted it badly but it didn't move around the track hardly at all. So we thought maybe the battery might need fully charged first but even after charging for 6 hours it still barely moved. It did decent of going straight but it wouldn't go around the curves at all just stalled unless you gave it a push. We returned it with no problem though.
Crap Toy, Dont waste your Money
Very disappointed in this toy, bought it for our 1 year old daughter to enjoy on Christmas, thought It’d be a great gift for her small enough and easy to just push the peddle before upgrading to power wheels type, one side runs fine the other side will not continue to run so it does not run on the tracks unless you give it a boost! The sounds and lights work great but not moving loses the point of our purchase Crap toy dont waste your money on it, we may not be lucky either to get our money back as the older kids threw out the half box it came in... Wish us luck in the fight with walmart on this toy return or whatever the protection plan for it was bought as well, so we shall see. 😞 Id give zero stars if i could the toy sucks. Dont waste your money!
Disgusted
The pictures speak for themselves. Bought for my daughter which she opened at her birthday party with friends. We quickly began to set up the track as the kids anticipated taking turns. When it wouldn’t work we opened the battery compartment and found very unsafe and disturbing corroded batteries and connections. How is that even possible? Brand new box so couldn’t have been a return. Unfortunately this negatively impacted the party.
Poorly designed
Just a badly designed toy. Within the weight limit very few children are going to understand how to operate a foot pedal. At the same time, you give them not one, but two hand operated switches that disable the forward motion.
The Perfect Gift
I had been looking for a Barbie jeep of some sort for my grandbaby for Christmas when I came across the Minnie Mouse ride-on motorized train with track. It was perfect and within 10 days it was sitting in my bedroom. This train is age approperate and grows along with her. I cant wait to see her face on Christmas when she opens it. Definately worth every penny.
Just needs to hold more weight!
Can't seem to turn the volume down. Very loud! Also, its weight limit is 22 pnd. So a 2 yr old is too big. It's great for a 1 yr old if they can hold on good. It takes D batteries I don't like the fact I can't plug in to charge. I bout for my 2 yr old but shes too big. Her 10 month old sister can enjoy it if she can hold on before she's outgrows it. It needs to be bit better for size and it don't stay on the track in reverse.
The train is really slow in speed and doesn’t stay completely on the track well. The train is really small and my daughter keeps hitting the stop button because it is very close to the seat. The weight limit is 22lbs.. my 10month old is 22lbs and this train seems to be very small for her, so definitely not for a 3 year old. The train does work off the track but is not able to easily be turned, instead it just goes straight or reverse without the ability to turn the wheels.
