Works like it should, horrible smell

It has mineral spirits / VOCs that heavily off gas during application. It’s been several hours and wife and I still smell it. I hope to god it doesn’t smell like this past several days of curing, I read older mixed reviews on this. Product’s bottle instructions should have been more specific on curing time and how to work around smell/VOCs. We have bathroom fan on, and HEPA filter in center of bathroom full blast. Do this in the morning where foot traffic is light in the 12 hours afterward

it's a small container. go by the ounces not the picture. I expected a big Jug. silly me. but this goes a long way. i sealed one shower grout. will do 2 more showers and floor tile. it should be enough to cover everything. again. a little goes a long way.

Super effective and versatile between stones. I use this product on my granite countertops to seal the pores the natural stone has. Long lasting, however, it is still recommended to use in heavily used areas such as around the sink every few years. The smell is strong, but the process is fairly quick. It's super easy to use!

A Waste of Time!!

I refinished the shower pan by scraping off the old paint and gripper paint. I cleaned it thoroughly and waited for it to dry for a few days before applying gripper paint. I applied three coats of gripper paint with enough drying time in between coats. Once the final gripper paint coat was completely dry and then started to paint the shower pan blue with three coats and letting each coat dry in between. I waited three days for it to cure before wiping and drying the shower pan then applying the 511 miracle impregnator. I applied two coats like it says on the label. I waited 72 hours for it to fully cure which is what it said on the label and online for a shower pan. Well the 72 hours were up and I tested it to see if it was dry wit was. So I thought as I started the water in the shower and the water that beaded up, left stains and I went to go wipe with my hand and what happened was the blue paint was coming through. This product is a waste of time and money. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS CRAP TO ANYONE!!!

This mess yellowed my marble backsplash

I had just installed a new marble backsplash and wanted to seal it to make sure it didn't stain. ALERT! The impregnator has now turned my beautiful white and gray backsplash into an ugly yellow mess. I'm so distraught, as it took me hours to put this stuff up and tile is expensive. Now it's ruined.

I was so excited when i finished my backsplash. I sealed it with this product to prevent stains, and about 48 hours later, the white is gone. It's all yellow! I can't figure out hot to get it back to it's original color. I would have prefered not sealing it a risking small stain than to have it all yellow.

Miracle sealants was used on a newly installed concrete pravers on a screened in porch. Sealer did slightly deepen color of paver as to be expected. Four weeks later pavers continue to look brand new.

DOES NO ONE DO THE TEST 1ST??

My god, I just keeping reading review after review of people complaining that it turned their tile a different color....the instructions CLEARLY say to test the product On a small, inconspicuous place 1st. It's amazing people don't read/follow instructions and then complain and moan and leave bad reviews. I can also tell is some pics people have put it on WAY to thick, most notably the guy who's saying it yellowed after 8 years. You can see in the pic it's on way to thick, this is suppose to impregnate the pores of the substrate, not be a coating on top. Seriously to everyone who is complaining, just stop. Learn to read and follow directions. It's a good thing the manufacturer can't leave customer reviews.

Great product

I wanted a high-quality sealer after I redid my walk-in shower. Renovating it (cutting out the old grout on the walls and and rerouting) was no fun at all so I wanted my renovation to last. I chose this sealer because it was compatible with all grout types, including the non-Portland cement type I used.

Well……I bought this for my granite countertops but did not like the end results. I stripped it off and am going to try the other type Home Depot sells. I have used this product on our shower tile and it worked just fine. One my glossy granite island…..not so much. I saw too many dull spots and what looked like scratches. My problems may be due to MY incorrect application or finishing effort (I didn’t buff it properly or buff it enough etc). I’m not sure but I’m trying something else this time.

Good product, easy to apply

Low odor. (Still needs ventilation) Clear liquid which applies easily without bubbles. You can brush on or used a rag or applicator.

Great sealer

Not strong smell, seals great one coat with even application. Used paint brush and white rag. Left it on for around 7 min before removing going small section at a time. Well ventilation and gloves. Good for shower area beads h2o up. No more grout changing color from h2o absorbing.

Absolutely stay away from this product. I just did a backsplash using Alaska Gray Splitface tile/stone. The tiles are whitish and bluish grey colored and this stuff (following directions on the bottle) turned some white into Yellow!!! It looked like someone took a yellow highlighter to my newly laid backsplash. My wife called the company and had learned different instructions. Put on and wipe after 3 minutes. Well anyways my 400 backsplash looks like crap. Avoid this

Works, but expensive and doesn't provide coverage area indicated

I use this on a flagstone patio that I want to keep water from penetrating and damaging and staining the stone. This works better and lasts longer than the regular sealer from the same brand. This works well, absorbs quickly and lasts. Before I finished the sealant had already dried into the stone. You should still let it cure for 48 hours or so before stepping on it or getting the stone wet. It did not alter the color of the natural stone or anything like that, but I suggest testing in a small area before using.

I decided to try a new sealer for my granite counters, ordering this one. The spout is messy and i felt like it needed a lot of product to complete the task, but it seems to have worked similar to a different one I purchased. I just did the first application, so I do not know how well it will hold up. Seems pricy for how much I needed to use. The smell was a bit potent, i’d recommend good ventilation. Item arrived quickly from Walmart. I originally ordered from Amazon and it kept getting delayed over and over.

Does not seal

Time and money wasted! Did not seal one bit. The sealer had good reviews at the time so we decided to go with it. Purchased new build so no grout sealer was added. White/ ivory grout turned gray. Spent a decent amount of time acid cleaning the grout to remove all stains. Applied two coats of sealer. Looks great when finished. Fast forward a year later the grout looks as if we never applied sealer. Don’t waste your time and money !

Dramatically changed the color of the stone

This product will dramatically change the color of your stone. Please see the attached image. I'm not sure why they say that it will not alter the natural look. This is Picasso ledger panel from MSI Products. This is one coat. The Picasso ledger panel is travertine stone. This totally changed the color to something not even close to the original. Not what I wanted...

Changed color of tile

I just finished my first ever backsplash in my home. I loved how it turned out but I read we should put a sealer to prevent stains. My husband went to Lowes to get a sealer and the employee told him to get this. I read online it was not supposed to change the color of the tile. It says on the directions it could possibly darken it slightly but I didn't think it would be noticeable. When I started it seemed okay, just looked slightly wet. I didn't see a big difference but as I continued and then wiped it down 3-5 minutes later, I noticed it made some of my tiles almost look yellow. My tiles are a natural stone that kind of has light marble look. I feel like it really dulled the whites and made a few have this yellow tint. I am super upset since I spent so much time doing the backsplash to have it ruined in a few minutes. I am looking into getting some kind of sealant remover. I added a couple of photos, one of the slight yellow tint, and the other is where I did one wall with the sealant and one I left alone. My husband does not mind the look of the slightly darker tiles but I really don't like it in comparison to what the tiles were.

I followed the instructions and also prepared the tile/grout with the 511 cleaner. The sealing process was straight forward; I applied 2 coats and I let it cure for 72 hours. After 72 hours, I used the newly sealed shower (tile & grout for floor and walls) and the water just beaded off the surface and all the grout appeared dry.

I don't know how you tell if you really did it correctly and it works. I read several ways of applying the Sealant online and I put the 411 Sealant in a Commercial Spray Bottle, purchased at Lowes, which I really liked, and sprayed it on the grout. I wiped it off the tile with a cloth, as they suggested. They had several suggestions on how to apply it. I waited 24 hours and reapplied it. I did this three times. As I applied it liberally, I'm assuming that it soaked into the grout and it is sealed. This was done in a shower that I had to renovate as the man who changed my shower from a slide in to tiled didn't do a good job and the "pan" needed to be redone. I would never change a slide in shower to tile again. He also changed the dimensions of the shower so I was unable to change the tile back to a slide in without major renovation.
