MirrEdge Acrylic Mirror Framing Strips were perfect for my oversized bathroom mirror. The product went up easily per instructions. It was a bit harder than expected to break the strip on the scored line (as instructed to do) but in the end I am very satisfied with the look of the product upon the edge of the mirror. It looks just like real glass. Home Depot Delivery did a great job delivering my MirrEdge product on time. I will buy MirrEdge framing strips again when re-hang my next mirror.

Didn’t have adhesive backing so I glued it and glued and and the glue now shows threw to the mirror side

Looks great! I had my handyman install them on two mirrors. HE had no issue with the install and only took about 1.5 hours. You really cannot tell that the frames are made of acrylic.

currently trying to figure out if mine was defective or...

currently trying to figure out if mine was defective or maybe cooked in a hot warehouse or something. There is a brown paper liner that needs to be removed. Under is a gray backing that hides the adhesive from showing through. Problem is the brown liner is near impossible to remove without the gray. Now iv got 2 inches that the glue shows through looking like fingerprints. I don't know if I can remove without breaking if I tried.

These mirror strips were very easy to cut to the exact size I needed. Just score with a few strokes with a utility knife, then snap off. The mirror surface is crisp and clear, and nobody would guess that it's plastic and not a glass mirror.

The original glass mirror edge trim began showing black spots due to a break down of the back silvering after only a few years in the high humidity atmosphere of my bathroom.
