Great little unit for legal-sized files

This little unit is exactly what I needed. Small and holds legal files very well. I wish there wasn't a gap at the bottom between the bottom of the unit and the bottom drawer, it makes it look unfinished or ill-fitting, but I can see it on all the pictures I've looked at online so it is just part of the design. Seems sturdy and a nicer look than the metal cabinets I have used in the past.

The product is really poor quality with damaged corners and parts not fitting. Not worth the price. I still kept only because of time it took to assemble including having to adjust unfitting pats

Prosaically, it filled a need

Having several boxes crammed full of files on the floor around which I got tired of maneuvering, a short file cabinet seemed a perfect solution. It was. There is a nice accessible flat top. The unit is sleek. The light blond wood finish is unobtrusive. Best of all, there is space! For how long remains to be seen. The drawers are capacious and roomy for lots of legal sized hanging files. Also assembly was pretty straight-forward and directions clear. A pair of these and a door would make a fine desk, just saying.... Also, the price was excellent. Oh, and the drawer bottoms are a composite wood board, not cardboard.

I am happy with this file cabinet. It looks nice and seems to be of good quality. It took my husband about 1.5 hours to put together and he is a mechanic/handyman with all the fancy tools. Good grief.
