Very awesome looking mailbox at a reasonable price

very easy assembly. Only required a power screwdriver.

While the mailbox looks good, it's not as easy to assemble as one would think. Once assembled some of the components don't fit together as snuggly as they should.

Well design and manufactured

This mailbox has all the features we wanted: it is made out of material that will withstand the weather, it completely wraps around the 4x4 post so none of it is exposed, it has a boxes big enough for larger size parcels and newspapers, it was easy to assemble, it accommodates up to 2.25 inch numbers and it was easy to attach to the 4x4 post. This looks like it will last for many years.

Nice looking and easy to assemble but when using the steel pole to anchor it in the ground it is not very stable and quite flimsy

Was a mess

Came on time, but after opening it up, it looked like they threw spare peices in a box and forgot to add all the screws which were not in the box so had to go buy the hardware need to put mailbox together. I would not recommend this product. Plus, the company it came from customer service sucked never got a reply from them!

Front door will not stay attached

The top has to be bent to attach to floor. It would not allow a secure fit front and rear. As a result the front door will not stay attached. This may be either poor quality control or just poor design. It's now junk. I would give it no stars if that were an option.

Read the directions

The mailbox seems to be well made. The only problem I had was trying to make letters stick to the pebbled surface. I think I fix the letters to a smooth surface and then glue it to the box.

Looks very nice and easy to install. The top portion is a little flimsy when opening the doors but overall nice for the price. And very easy to put together.

Plastic Mailbox

I have used this mailbox before and it performs very well except against vandals. The vandals are probably kids in the neighborhood.. I bought this as a replacement and it reminds me that it does not come with the hardware. I understand but it would have kept me from having to return to a hardware store after the purchase. Just saying.

Sturdy mailbox that can outlast the snow plow

This is our second of these mailboxes. Love them. They stand up to a lot of abuse and if knocked about, just slide off the mount and land in the ditch so we can just pick it up and reinstall it on the mount. We had the last one for several years. Unfortunately, with this year's large dump of heavy snow, along with the road plow it was just too much for the post and it snapped off near the top. Since they don't sell a replacement post we had to buy the whole thing - the only reason for a 4 star. Worth the purchase in the end.

Bought this mail box for my business. It's much larger and holds a pretty decent amount of clothing orders! Being able to collect the mail or add mail from the back is pretty cool too. We don't need the under tray part, but it doesn't bother us to be there. We were able to slide it right over the wood that's already in the ground for our last mail box. A plow truck hit it over the winter and knocked it off the stand, but it was still in good condition!

Easy to install. Large mail opening. Numbers don't stick too well. Overall, very pleased.

Good mailbox. It’s a bit flimsy but it works for the purpose of it. There is a weird thing that happens with the top, it seems to disconnect or pop up but it is easy enough to fix!

To date, we have purchased a total of 65 of these Mailbox/Post Combo, which are all used in our complex. They are nice and large, wider than standard mailboxes are. They are a great choice of mailboxes. Most of ours have been up for about 10 years already. Only time they may need to be replaced is if the snow plow takes them down or a car runs into them.

I never knew how much I could love a mail box until now. This Architectural Mailboxes - Gentry Black, Large, Plastic, All-in-One Mailbox and Post Combo is amazing ! It was so easy to install it only took my other half 10 mins. Seriously. That easy. He used the pre existing post which cut down a few mins. I love how it’s made of durable plastic. No worrying about it rusting especially with all the rain we have. Also love that I can use it for getting my newspaper as well which means we were able to take down that ugly paper box ! But my absolute fave? Being able to check the mail from front or back ! I have 2 younger kids who love to check the mail and I get nervous with them standing on the road. This solves that problem ! Also I’m sure my mail man is going to love this as well … it’s a larger box than my old mail box! Which means it can fit more/larger packages. If you buy this you won’t be disappointed

I like this mailbox because it feels sturdy and durable. It was very easy to replace my old mailbox and put this one down in its place. It honestly looks better as well. Like how a mailbox should be. I feel like it will also stand through harsh weather.

We needed a new mailbox and I really like this type the best. It's definitely sturdy and well made. It was super easy to put together and came with the screws needed and clear, precise instructions. It installed right over our existing post from our old mailbox so that was really convenient. It has back access so you can collect your mail without having to go in the street and a separate slot for your newspaper delivery. Definitely a well made mailbox.

I just put up my GENTRY MAILBOX AND POST today and I love it. At first I thought it was going to be hard to put up but it wasn't!! It looks so nice and the larger size than traditional mailboxes is great. This is made of sturdy plastic and now no more ugly rusty mailbox. This is amaxing.
