The Lithonia Lighting 4 in. Matte White Recessed Baffle Integrated LED Lighting Kit doesn't live up to its 15-year warranty. I bought it to replace one that failed after 6 years. I chose to buy the same fixture because it was still the most cost -efficient option.
Disapointed
We bought and installed several of these in a kitchen. One year later we have now replaced two of the lights. Salt in the wound = You can't just buy the light, we had to buy the whole unit. Such a waste of money and material.
lithonia trap
I installed the 3” and 4” LED trim kits in the whole house over 2 years. Well, time tells the story. I am not longer happy with 3000k lighting. It looks yellow to me now. Lithinia is not compatsbile with any retrofit led light, because they have a different wiring connext. Forfed to look for only their brand, which is super limited. Not cool lithonia. Get with the program

Feb. 2016, installed 12. In December 2021, one light went bad. Contacted AcuityBrands, agent said I had to buy a whole new unit, could not buy just the light. The box states expected life = 32 years. I got 5. That acceptable? Well see how the rest do.

My girlfriend thought I was talking to her when I opened up the box with these lights in it. I haven’t actually even installed them yet but now that I received them and have them in hand I can verify that they are exactly what I was looking for and the quality for the price is great. Enjoyed my Bee’s Lighting shopping experience.
