Misleading as shoe storage.

Area for shoes is SMALL! Does not fit normal size shoes. Shoes only fit 1 shoe per slot laying on their side. 10yr olds shoes don’t even fit unless laying on their side 1 shoe per cubby. Defeats the purpose of fitting multiple pairs of shoes. 10 cubbies fit 5-7 pairs of shoes depending how you configure laying them down.

This bench was excruciating to put together. The instructions were quite terrible, lacking enough detail to know which pieces (which are numerous and rarely marked) went which way and where. I had to take the completed bench apart because of the defective instructions. Once together, the bench seems sturdy and solid. It looks nice although some of the pieces came slightly damaged. Fortunately not in areas that can readily be seen after assembly. The most glaring design flaw is the size of the shoe rack spaces. They do not hold many pairs of shoes - just the pairs that will compress enough to stuff into the narrow spaces. Once our marriage had officially survived the assembly with poorly thought out instructions, it was a welcome addition to the foot of our bed.

It is good, but...

It is like in the picture, but the assembly instructions are not very clear. Also, the material is very fragile and can break easily during assembly.

Great for entryways

We love it. It holds the shoe covers in the drawers and the seat is super convenient for everyone. The appearance is presentable, and everyone has been complimenting on it.

A nice looking solid entryway bench.

It was perfect. It is quite solid, much heavier than I was expecting. The direction were a bit difficult to read.

DO NOT BUY!!

This product is unacceptable. Directions were incorrect w/ pieces mislabeled. After I was finally able to assemble correctly the drawers were unable to fit & immediately broke, rendering the product completely unusable. I have built many pieces of furniture, but this is by far the most horrific experience I've ever had. The worst part being that my time, labor & money spent on this product has resulted in nothing but a piece of unusable garbage! A refund is the only acceptable solution.

Worst instructions ever!

the assembly instructions were the worst. there were errors of omission as well as mislabeled pieces in the assembly instructions. Only one side of symmetries were illustrated. No discernable indication of finished sides vs unfinished, and one part showed proud of an edge when it should be flush. I had to partially disassemble and reassemble some parts multiple times. The order of operations in the instructions also leave something to be desired, like step 1 was putting every single dowel in every part instead of as you assemble.

Trash- do not buy

it came already damaged, they barely marked the furniture pieces ( you have to guess which letters are written ) and of course they are already labeled incorrectly, so the whole furniture it’s not aligned! Save yourself time not to return this back ✌️

Difficult to assemble

The product itself is very good and fits perfectly ion the area I wanted it. However it was difficult to assemble so some parts didn't line up properly and the directions were not very clear.

Nice bench but assembly is very tough

Nice bench once done.. the assembly is very hard, so many parts, 15+ steps, some of the screws apparently don't work well. The bench once done looks nice but assembly was a nightmare, for this reason would not recommend unless you are a pro and think can handle the assembly

It is a tedious process to put together and they made a typo on the instructions labeling part I part J. Other than that it looks good.

I wish I would have looked closely at the other reviews before purchasing this item. It is made with press board and the shoe holders are very small. The assembly instructions were unclear and vague. We are missing the left draw slide that attaches to the bench. At the time I am writing this review, I still have not received resolving reply from the company. I am checking to see if I can return this item. We are unable to finish the assembly without the missing part. I do not recommend this product.

This item is wonderful after you decipher the instructions. The Instructions require more clarification.

NFM could do much better.

Missing screws. Shredded packing which made a mess as I removed pieces for assembly, screw packages open. Oh and assembly... two hours plus, poor instructions. NFM should indicate estimated assembly time, not just 'assembly required' (I naively assumed there would just be a couple of pieces to screw together at this price). Despite attractive appearance, very disappointing, would not buy again.
