Nice desk. Looks perfect in our Modern Farmhouse Ranch !

I bought a second one

Bush RTA (ready to assemble) furniture is better than almost all of the many pieces I have assembled in the last couple of decades since that Swedish company introduced us to the flatpack world. The trick is that they put the strength where is is needed. Instead of depending completely on cam-lock fasteners, and particle board, they upgrade to MDF, or in some places solid wood and special screws to take the load. As anyone knows who has assembled this style furniture, the accuracy and sizing of the mating parts is key. Bush does a good job sizing the holes so that you can feel confident that the fasteners won't strip out when you're torqueing them in. There is a warning about using power equipment on these, and that should be heeded. Or at least set your drill-driver to it's lowest torque setting and finish by hand. It's very disheartening to strip one of the fasteners, knowing there is really not much you can to to fix it. (there are some tricks for this, but I'll put that in a different review). Assembly Instructions are very good with Bush furniture. Follow them closely, and you will do well. This desk in particular is very well constructed. It has a nice big pull out keyboard tray/ drawer, and a good amount of storage/file space on the side. I chose it from among all the others, because of the qualities mentioned above, and because it fits well in my space. I bought a matching one for my wife, and she is very happy with it. Then we bought the matching file cabinet to complete the office build. 2 minor knocks kept this from being a 5 star. First, as with all RTA, there is a boat load of styrofoam that comes with the flatpack. They really need to replace this with something better for the environment. Second, we discovered by accident that you don't want to slide this unit around on a tile floor, even when unloaded. We were sliding the desk on a moving blanket down the hallway and caught an edge of the tile, and snapped the rear leg (MDF) right off. The other 3 legs are solid wood, and they instructions do tell you not to move the unit when loaded, but there it was. Since this one is sitting in a non-visible place, I just sistered the leg with plywood and viola, no issue. All in all, I feel this desk was a good value, and it will serve us for years.

Great home office desk

Love the desk. It is perfect for a home office. I wanted a desk with a coastal style, that wasn't like a typical office desk. This fit perfect. Assembly was long. Took all day to build. The package is very heavy.

Home Office

This is a beautiful desk! It feels very sturdy and has the farmhouse feel that I was looking for. I use this in my home office, and not only are the drawers deep, well-made, and easy to open, but the keyboard drawer is really perfect: i's magnetic, so it stays up when I'm not using it. It took about 1.5 hours for 2 people to put it together. Very satisfied.

Desk assembly

Assembly was easy. I hate a nice desk and then to have a cardboard piece for the back. It really makes it look cheap.

Needed a desk for a smaller area did not want to take up to much room and this one is perfect for that area and it was very easy to assemble and looks great

Desk that looks very nice!

This is a nice looking desk, fits our needs and is quite sturdy as well. It took a tad longer to assemble than some of the other desks that I had to assemble but it was easy enough once I dove in.

Would not recommend

The piece was very pretty once together but it was hard to get it all together. Not sturdy at all

Gorgeous Desk!

I absolutely love this desk. It is both beautiful and super functional. Takes some time and effort to.assemble, and the box is quite heavy, just fair warning. But it is worth it! So pleased.

Perfect!

Just the right look we were going for. Had the farmhouse style we wanted without looking too country. It was a great compromise for what my husband and I wanted. Sobering we could both agree on! (He doesn't know it was my first pick, so he thinks he talked me down to a compromise hahaha!)

Lowest quality desk

This is a very low quality desk. The desktop has a very thin wood grain printed sticker material. This will not hold up long at all.

Love the desk. Perfect size and very pretty. A lot of parts to put together though.

Love this desk! I got this desk to use as a vanity. I also have the L shaped desk. Expect to get what you pay for. These are made of MDF so you have to be carful when moving or they will break! (If you try to slide them make sure to use the furniture slides you put under the feet) Other than that this is a great looking desk. I have had this desk for a year now and all the drawers still work great.

Poorly made desk

Should have realized for the price this desk was made of cheap materials. It was relatively easy to assemble, but the ongoing issue I have is with the bottom draw of the desk. It has been impossible to insert the bottom drawer into the desk. The tracks for the bottom drawer are the same as for the keyboard tray, but for some reason the bottom drawer won't slide in. Customer service has been helpful in that they sent new tracks which I installed, but still could not get the drawer to properly work on both tracks. One CSR told me that you need to give it some force which I did and the track went through the back panel of the desk. They shipped me new back panels and am awaiting another new right side track.

Great quality and low cost

This was perfect for our medical assistant's office. Everyone got the same desk, they look nice and were easy to put together!
