Keter Artisan Shed

The components were delivered within the advertised timeframe and it was fairly straightforward to self build as the instructions were well written and easy to follow. While one person could build most of the shed on their own there were one or two sections that required a second person to help, the whole assembly took about 5 or 6 hours or so. Although the shed is manufactured from plastic it is quite solid and weatherproof once assembled and being plastic makes it maintenance free. Overall I am very pleased with this product and would fully recommend it to anyone considering purchasing one.

11 X 7 Keter Shed

I bought and assembled this shed back in May, I had it shipped to my local Home Depot. Pick up was easy and there was no damage to the box. I assembled the shed myself and it took me about 8 hours to complete, not including the concrete pad I poured for it. I live in Florida and since the shed has been installed it has been through Tropical Storm Debby, Hurricane Helene, and a direct hit by Hurricane Milton. The shed is still standing strong. Great shed, would definatley buy again.

I purchased this shed back in May 2024. I assembled it myself, the instructions were clear, it took about 8 hours to assemble by myself, that doesn't include the concrete pad I poured for it. I live in Florida and since I assembled this shed it has seen one tropical storm and two hurricanes, Helene and a direct hit from Milton. The shed is still standing strong. I am very satisfied with this shed.

I just love the shed! While it took a group of us a better part of the day to set up, it is stable and seems sound. It’s beautiful in my backyard, exactly what I was looking for. There was, however, a small part missing. We were able to make-shift a solution and still finish the shed. Wayfair was quick to respond and make up for the missing part.

Good Shed That We Are Pleased With

We had the shed delivered by Home Depot and the driver used a pallet jack to put it right where I needed it. There are three boxes which total to about 500 lbs and were all covered in plastic. The boxes were all in good condition and all of the parts were there it turned out. I built a base for it out of ground contact lumber and plywood (also sourced from Home Depot) and spent more than a little time leveling it. The shed went together well and the instructions were clear enough if you really scrutinize the diagrams. We were not able to finish it the first day and got a surprise severe storm overnight with 60+ mph winds. Had all the walls up and side window panels but no roof or front windows (about step 46). Shed held up fine which really impressed us. Took a total of about 6-7 hours to finish.

No better Shed that has long side entry.

I took my time looking for a Storage Shed with the entry on the side as this does; only one other option out there, but Not as secure, we felt, as this is. After it arrived I understood the dilemma about the "Lack of packing organization." There was/is NONE; hence you have 3 large boxes, for the 11' x 7' version, to sort threw as you look for the parts. Took me right about 7-1/2 hours to assemble this by myself. NOT Enough Seal Tape for window panels; improvised by sealing the bottoms first.

Extremely well engineered. I looked at several sheds, including Suncast, Lifetime, etc, and decided on Keter. Glad I did. It’s clear from the packaging, quality of the components, clarity of the instructions, etc, that it’s a premium product. I was able to assemble the entire thing on my own in about 16 hrs. It’s not particularly difficult to assemble, but it just takes time to screw everything together, and there are ALOT of screws and fasteners. And make sure your foundation is level - if it isn’t then you might have problems getting the doors aligned properly. Highly recommend this product - and it’s great example of “you get what you pay for.”

Minor issues, but overall great Shed

After delivery, it became apparent that some of the previous reviews were correct about the "packing sequence" being "unorganized"; which made for a hopeless task to inventory the parts. This can be assembled by 1 person, taking my time, in 9-1/2 hours. I assembled the roof panels individually. The window sealer tape provided wasn't near enough for all of the windows and will need to get intouch with RETER for more. Door adjustments are Not forgiving at all, once in done. Keter Artisan Shed 11ft x 7ft

Arrived flat packed in cardboard and plastic which was ideal as it had to be flat stored whilst concrete base was being laid.

Quality shed but the doors are light.

This is a good quality shed. I would buy when it is on offer. The professional installation was convenient for me but was expensive at £299. Two people could quite easily self build it. if Delivery took about one week and installation about another week. The floor is ridged on the underside so pointed legs (like a laden shelving unit) will puncture it. I was advised to add a protective layer such as 15mm plywood to prevent the puncture. I am happy with the quality overall of the but the doors are quite light and blow about too easily. There is no inside handle to close the doors from inside and the second door has no fixing mechanisms fixing at all. Everything else is fine.

Excellent shed tho laborious build

Excellent shed that took around 10 hours ro build with some help. The shed is great and comes in 3 massive boxes weighing around 70kg each. Building it wasnt too difficult but was very time consuming so any DIYers shouldnt be put off but do set aside a whole day. Needs a solid base beneath it so got a builder to buld a 7x11 base in about 20cm deep concrete. Every part of the shed required putting together and no parts were pre built. You'll need an electric screwdriver or impact driver as there are easily over 1000 screws to fix. The materials used for the walls windows and roofing are great and is really sturdy. However the base is the let down. The plastics used arent strong enough and can crack if something heavy is placed on it like standing on it with a step ladder. So would be advisable to buy some thick rubber flooring. Overall really pleased and would highly recommend.

Great shed (can install solo), nice looking too

I waited many months for this shed to be back in stock, and boy has it been worth it! It arrived in 3 large boxes, one small criticism is they were quite unwieldy with the straps under the plastic, so are quite hard to carry. However once unpacked, the instruction manual is amongst the best I've ever seen (and I've done a lot of DIY so have seen a few) - each stage mentions exactly what is needed, and which part of the shed it relates to.

Quality issues and unreasonable returns advice

There were a few notable quality control issues with this product. Some of the panels had defects which could have been avoided. The tongue of two front panels was deformed and needed careful manipulation to make it work at all into the adjacent grooves. One of the other general large panels had been badly machined with a noticeable surface imperfection. One of the window frames were also poorly moulded and left a space at connection with the adjacent window.

This is great shed. It looks good and has four walls without windows in the way, for storage.

Great shed

The shed is fantastic. Modern. Stylish. Big. What’s not to like. As others have said be aware the three boxes it gets delivered in are extremely heavy, took three of us to move each one and that was a struggle to be honest.

Was lucky enough to get one of these when it became briefly back in stock in early July. Keter sheds are well designed. I had one years ago and was glad they are still making them. The modern styling looks so much better than what you typically find. The corrugated panels are much sturdier than typical resin sheds. Good Instructions, well illustrated, lots of parts. I took my time sorting everything, floor and wall parts, roof parts, windows and doors. I also pre-assembled the doors and windows ahead of time to speed the build process. I was able to do most of the assembly myself; floor and walls go up very quickly, the roof being a bit more of a challenge. Lots of screws, drove most of them by hand with a ratcheting screwdriver , using a battery-powered driver only when necessary. You need to be careful not to overdrive as you are mostly drilling into plastic. Had to deduct one star because I was short a handful of screws (I'm looking at you, SC15!) Once together, the entire structure is quite solid, although I might consider some additional anchoring to keep it safe in case of high winds.

I really like the Keter shed, it looks so much better than those gingerbread boxes so typical in the shed world and the cost for what you get is a lot better than those wood competitors. I think that the maintenance on these plastic lumber sheds will be non existent just like trex lumber so I'm glad I got this. I think they look great and should function well, although the floor is very flimsy and depresses too much in my opinion, but form a functional perspective it shouldn't be a problem. The structure is sound enough for a shed and I hope it is water proof, we'll see when it rains again. Last week, I built it in about 8 hours over two days with a little help from my son including the dirt leveling and base frame we built with treated lumber and plywood. I built an 8' x 12' footprint of the base and spray painted the border black and it looks great with the Keter black and gray base. I was bugged that they shorted me 6 screws in one section and they are way short on the weather stripping for the windows (two rolls), that was a major botch on their part, but otherwise, very good instructions and I'm looking forward to filling it up.
