QUICK and EASY

It was so easy to install. Had a new light instantly

The box shows and states it is a flat mount!!!

The instalation was a little dificult, because I installed this unit above my kitchen sink. Had to drill through the cabinet to allow the lights supply box to be able to be flush with the cabinet.Other then that, I reaaly like the flush mount and the selections of light luminousity.

Perfect for old ugly cans

Perfect for older can lights. Had a hard time finding a trim kit to fit so we went with a surface light

Great lighting BUT

2 closets needed a retrofit LED celling mount & 1 needed a wall mount. No one at HD seemed to know what I needed to order because of a closet light fire rating. I contacted Halo and they said this light was for both applications PROBLEM The the clip system to secure the light to the bracket was a pain to get in to the first light but with a lot of fiddling I got it in, but honestly it doesn't feel secure. Closet 2- no matter what we did the light would not secure to the bracket. POOR DESIGN

Great look and fit

I was able to install this light in my basement and looks absolutely fantastic. I really like these light because it makes the room look more modern and the style of these lights are really nice. It almost blends into the ceiling to well, anyone trying to do a room improvement, these are 100% the best way to go.

Good light for the money

Great for a small overhead light in hallway or bathroom. We used the larger ones in the bedrooms. They give good light and won't use much energy--that's a plus!

In the garbage

They look great but are terrible to install. I was only able to successfully install 2 of the 5 flush mounts I bought. A job that should take no more than 10 minutes becomes an hour if you can actually get the clips to engage and flush the light to the ceiling. Awful design and not for the perfectionist.

Stylish and functional

Used this to replace an old fluorescent light fixture in my kitchen.It’s sleek, looks nice, is about 1/10th of the size of the old fixture and gives off just as much light!

Very easy install

This is a great light. It was very easy to install. The flush mount is perfect. It looks great in the ceiling. This light is also really bright. It's great for the family room!

Exactly As It Should Be

This works perfectly. I put it in my laundry room and it provides the perfect diffused lighting. Easy to install in existing spot.

Nice Light

I really like this light and that it is matte finish and LED. replaced an older "can" light over my sink with it. It seems about 20-25% brighter then expected for the 600 lumens stated, providing almost too much light, but it is nice. Installation was fairly easy for anyone who has done basic electrical installation and can follow the step by step instruction. I may consider a dimmer option to see if that helps.

Great low profile light

This low-profile light is exactly what we needed for our laundry room. Our laundry room is somewhat small and has low ceiling so having a low-profile light was important to us so we had more room and no one would hit their head on the light. Installing the light was simple and only took a few minutes for us. We do have experience changing lights and found this one to be one of the easiest to change out. The light is almost flat to the ceiling giving you as much room as possible. Although the light is flat its bright and gives the room plenty of coverage. This light is one of my favorites and I already changed out my bathroom lights with this same one because I liked it so much.

Good

I was needing a new light above my kitchen sink and this one was easy to install. My wife thinks it looks great too, so that's a bonus. I like it and I think you will like it too.

Wonderful

We have been upgrading all our light fixtures to LED throughout our home and offices. Halo makes high quality fixtures. This was very easy to install and works beautifully. I will keep buying Halo fixtures as I work towards completing the changeover to LED

Perfect Lighting!

I set the light up in the laundry room. It is great, its bright and low profile.The only down side is that its brightness is controlled from behind the light. So you need to take it down to make the adjustment. Other then that, it worked out perfectly!
