A real pain to put together
Cute little bench. I like the color and simplicity of it. I bought it to sit and change out my shoes on. Wood construction. Comfortable cushion. But I don’t think people of more than 250 lbs should sit on this. It’s for lighter people.

Nice look, cheap material.
We liked the design, the color, the size, and it fit perfectly into the space we had available. However, this is NOT made from wood. The bench material is a pretty coarse chipboard covered with a very cheap melamine type layer. Lower grade than IKEA products for sure. The legs are wood, but wrapped with a weird simulated wood grain contact paper that was peeling a bit already. We kept it because we glued all the dowels in place and it seems pretty sturdy, for now…but we’ll see. We are using this as an entry bench at our cabin, but I would not get this for an area that will get a lot of use. Oh, and the drawer is all fabric with a flimsy bottom, but we have just some light things in it. After writing all this I’m wondering why we still have it!
