Beautiful
This table is astounding, super high quality, solid and gorgeous. The worst part was that it showed online as in stock and ready for shipping, but took three weeks to actually receive. Customer service was not very helpful. It was as if the table was just sitting in the warehouse (which is located literally only an hour away from my home), and they forgot about my order. When it arrived, it was supposed to come in two boxes shipped together. Instead, the base arrived one day, and the top arrived two days later. Really frustrating, but I'm happy with the actual piece.
The top is wood,I think it is wood but it is coated with a very hard, shiny surface that is impervious to water, food- anything one would normally have on a kitchen table. I would'nt use it as a cutting board but I have spillt coffee, fruit and wine on it and it wipes up clean. It is a very easy to care for surface. But because of the surface I dont think it can be used outdoors.
Beautiful....just perfect for my space....and heavy enough to be very stable
