The product is sturdy and has a strong aesthetic appeal from a distance .. there is however what appears to be a factory defect . The top surface of the seat instead of been clean and smooth as per the pictures, instead has an uneven wave like finish where the bars cross each other on the seating surface.

This is a nice, sturdy bench with a lovely chrome finish that goes great with the chrome fixtures and mid-mod tile accents in my bathroom! It IS quite short, slightly difficult to sit so low to the floor, but worth it! I also place extra towels on it for guests. Have gotten nothing but compliments! Very pleased.

This stainless steel bench is a piece of art. It is of great quality. The company did an excellent job in wrapping this bench where there were no scratches.

The bench was a nice matte stainless color. Was one piece construction, looked sturdy. Was too wide for the walkway where we placed it. Had to return it. Would have kept if there was more hallway space.

This bench is reminiscent of the classic wood George Nelson bench on steroids! Love the shiny stainless steel. It is also very sturdy. My husband loves having it in our entryway so he can sit on it to put on and take off his shoes.
