Installed well on rebuilt shower and tub but drain stopper was not needed (old school pull stopper over drain) so it just sits there not hooked up to anything, slight drip after initial installation, probably high water pressure and the building piping. So far so good.

DO NOT BUY

When installed, the shower handle does not sit flush to the trip plate – it's sticking out by a good 1 3/4 inches and looks terrible. I now find out this is a known issue with this Moen product. But wait: Moen has the perfect solution – an escutcheon extension ring that brings the trim plate out by another 1/2 inch. And it's going to cost me about $120. What even? I could buy a completely different shower faucet kit for less money than that. UNBELIEVABLE. Why is this part not included?

My plumber likes Moen

Per his advice I chose the Adler Single-Handle 4-Spray Tub and Shower Faucet for my bathroom remodel. The quality is good and so is the value. The shower head has three settings with nice spray patterns. These days some plastic parts are the norm.

JUNK! Water coming out of spout and shower head.

I've never been so frustrated with a product in all my life. I had a professional plumber install this in my unfinished basement. Shortly after, we had our drywall done. When it came time to use the shower we noticed that water was pouring out of the shower head at the same time as the spout. I took the spout off and let the water flow freely and the shower head only had a little trickle of water coming out, but when I put my finger near the spout and create the slightest resistance the water will start GUSHING out of the shower head. There's no way to fix it and I have no way of getting this piece of TRASH out of my bathroom without cutting a hole in my newly finished walls, which cost me thousands to have done. Moen - I don't want to see your list of reasons why "stacking" is happening. I've checked every one of those off. Read the reviews here, is EVERYONE installing this wrong? I should be charging YOU for the repairs. This should be pulled from the shelves!

Nothing better than Moen!!!

I will only buy Moen faucets and shower valves. I tried to change the insides on a Delta shower valve that looked good from the outside but leaked. The whole unit spun in the wall, it was built with copper lines attaching the mixer body itself together. Moen makes it out of solid brass, so it will never break!!! Delta valves are cheaply built and will give you big problems down the line, and behind the wall.

We remodeled our bathroom and right after 3 days of installation , bathtub faucet wont stop leaking. It stops for few seconds and then starts leaking again, if it is a leaky cartridge or some issue related to the inner parts of the pump or faucet , it signifies the bad quality. I hope Moen would stand behind their product, I am now super worried how to call the contractor again and just wish that we don't have to break the newly remodeled shower tiles/walls ad it can be fixed timely because the water leak is not stopping.

Crucial information was not on outside of box and thus could not use the handle and faucet. Huge waste of money and quality seemed poor. I learned my lesson not to buy fixtures from a big box store. I just hope there are no leaks from using this product.

I bought this to replace my previous Adler faucet handle and tub spout which were damaged during a reno. This new product is absolute garbage. Tub faucet and escutcheon are cheap plastic. Curtain rod is not adjustable and does not take into account tile thickness So even if you have a standard 5 foot tub, better measure twice before buying.

BuyMoen Support review after you get the product.

All I need is the silly plaster guard for a thick wall install for the Moen Adler 82613SRN. Please someone help so I can get this Hardie backer board up and set my tile. At least if you get a new one please measure from the screw hold to the front of the plate so I can install this shower. I spent over 1300.00 replacing all my fixtures in both bathrooms with Moen and now am remodeling my showers and cannot find the plaster guard for this unit. I called and they said they would send me one no problem, now 2 and a half weeks later I called back and they said it was on back order and would send me one when they get it in. I just need to use some type of measurement to get the wall up and know where to mount the valve. The plumber that put in in using PEX just left it dangling and the plate was holding it on. I will buy someone's used plaster guard after they install yours since Moen can't take seem to care of me with their lifetime guarantees. We have 5 people and a newborn using one bathroom now for over a month. It is getting rough. Great products just not real happy with the service not having something so simple in stock. They have no measurement markings, Plaster guard part number, plaster guard measurements from the screw to the end cap or anything I can use to get this in place before covering it with backer board. My Hardie Backer is 1/2" and my tile is 7mm if someone has any ideas. Thank you all for the help.

I am extremely disappointed with this product, water almost just falls out of the shower head. I have been buying Moen products for years once I learned that they are one of the few brands that could be repaired. Because I have been a loyal customer I was not prepared for the dismal performance of this product. I am a handicapped amputee and use a hand held shower head. The old value was a cheap low grade brand that provided adequate water pressure for the hand held shower head. The Moen brand severely the available water pressure. I know it is not the shower head as it worked fine with the previous value, the only thing that changed was the value. I would not recommend this shower value if you have a condo or some place with medium to low water pressure, it restricts the flow to a dismal 1.75 gallons per minute. If you don't have good water pressure, this low flow rate will cause water to basically fall out of your shower head instead of spraying out.

Buyer Beware

I recently purchased a one handle tub shower valve kit. I am remodeling my bathroom and installed the valve prior to tiling and wanted to check the fittings before installing the tile. I turned off my water and connected the valve at the proper distance for my tile and backer board. I turned on the supply line and discovered the valve had been shipped in the open position.

everything was there and installed okay. Was disappointed with the amount of nickel plated plastic used. This works now, but, will have to be replaced in a few years. The plumber said that if he had been asked to get the tub/shower assy there would have been no plastic. A good example is the flimsy tub spout that Moen makes both in plastic and metal.

Disappointing, but it will do for now.

Got this to replace a nearly identical setup with a leaky valve stem. The old ones handle removal screw was frozen in place and the screw head stripped so I had to drill it out to get to the leaking valve stem to come out.

Product was deceiving. you think you are getting brushed nickel, but you're actually getting a metal brushed nickel handle, but a PLASTIC brushed nickel wall plate and tub faucet. for how much more expensive the brushed nickel is over the chrome, you think you would be getting a more durable product. cant wait to be replacing these plastic parts!

Returned because of issues with the valve not working properly. Have rental units going under renovations and contractor discovered issues with another job of valves not working. They checked ours and they were performing in the same manner. We switched to a different brand.

Looks good, but...

Being a Cleveland guy, I try to support the local team. So, I buy Moen when I can, plus I like their products. However, I wish they would mark their products for new construction vs replacement as I overpaid for a shower unit because it came with a valve, which I don't need. Also, the tub spout does not come with a slip connection. So, the instruction state just screw it on. So, that's another expense I didn't expect to spend. Thanks Moen
