Zero scent - zero projection

I received this candle as a birthday gift, the large 3 wick size, and it smelled lovely from the jar… however, when I burned it there was zero scent. None. I have loved Voluspa candles for years (why this was a gift!) and was incredibly disappointed. I have never had this experience with this brand before. I don’t know if the formulation has changed, or it was just this particular scent, but it was very disappointing to say the least.

ZERO SMELL

I have had two 18 ounce candles burning side by side simultaneously for days and I still can't smell anything. This is the first time I purchased this scent and it will be the last. I adore these candles and have a plethora of "fave scents". This is the first one ever that has left me feeling less than enamoured. It won't stop me from buying this brand exclusive ly!!!!

I've been a Voluspa fan for over 10 years! I grabbed a few while on sale which doesn't happen often. They are a higher end candle but special. There's not a jar or scent I haven't loved! You won't regret it.

Bought for my sister as a Christmas gift. For her last birthday I bought her her first voluspa candle. She said she wouldn’t want any other candle after using that one. So I got her this candle which was a different scent. She loved it just as much!

Gorgeous floral!

I absolutely LOVE this scent. Light enough to be used year-round or as a signature scent but still perfect for spring, even better for gifting (mother's day, days, galentine's, bridal showers, Easter, etc). The vessel is so gorgeous and the light, beautiful floral scent will elevate any space with elegance.

You need to light it for a while before you actually smell the scent, but once you smell it, it's delicious. The smell is not strong but very pleasant, mild smell. Love it and have been purchasing this scent for years!

I have a stash of these candles. I stock up during the sale season. Mokara is a very fresh, sophisticated, barely there scent. My go to for when I’m expecting guests. Other scents worth exploring are the limited sesasonals, e.g. Forbidden Fig, Cherry Gloss, etc.

This candle is worth every penny. It truly adds elegance to any space, and smells so light and fresh. This is my go to candle by this brand, and I can’t say how much I love it enough. I wish I had enough money to buy the huge one. The candle would make a great gift, and truly just makes me so happy the scent is super light and refreshing. 

This high end Candle comes in a beautiful glass jar snd smells heavenly. Mokara is a mix of white lilly, orchid and spring moss. It smells luxurious, like a fancy spa. It fills the whole room with fragrance and it is large enough to last for months

I love voluspa candles. They are so expensive feeling in how the smell and burn. This scent is a lovely floral and my all time favorite. The 100 hour burn time makes this candle both a great gift for me and others. Love These Candles!!

I've been buying Vulspa candles from Anthropologie for a few years now and I love them they smell amazing but not to strong, and the jars are so beautiful they are great to use once ur done buring the candle. They are a great size especially for the price and they'd be great to give as a gift. These will always be a repurchase! This review has been provided as a part of an incentive program.

Enchanting Mokara

I received my Mokara scented candle as a gift. I love everything about it! The white and gold container looks gorgeous on my coffee table. The scent is mysterious and unlike any candle I’ve ever had. A sweeter scent than what I would usually choose for myself but not at all too flowery, it’s subtle yet complex and alluring. I love the slow beautiful burn and the way it adds such an amazing ambiance to my room.

Great candle, subtle fragrance

This was my first voluspa purchase. I had very high hopes! It seems the first part of the candle didn’t have much throw but burned smooth and clean and was beautiful on my vanity. So I kept at it. About a third of the way down, I began to get the fragrance throw. It is a gorgeous and delicate scent and pairs well with other candles. I’m glad I did not give up because it truly is a unique scent experience. I wish it was a little stronger, but I feel that way about most of my candles. Overall a great candle and I am happy with my purchase.

Awesome customer service

I purchased two of this scent. I have had it before and loved how floral and sweet it was. Unfortunately the two I bought felt like not the same as the previiis ones I purchased. The large wasn’t giving off a scent and the small one was burning incorrectly and therefore wasn’t working. I reached out to their customer service worried that I wouldn’t be taken seriously but he was thoughtful and helpful. He replaced them for me and I am very thankful for that. I will still continue to buy this scent as it really has a wonderful and sweet scent. Highly recommend!

Very disappointed, weak to nonexistent fragrance.

My large Mokara candle arrived in very nice packaging and quick delivery. However, upon opening it and lighting it, we didn't get any noticeable fragrance from this candle. It smelled nothing like the smaller Mokara candles my girlfriend and I smelled in our local plant boutique stores, we are very disappointed by it. There were so little fragrance coming out of this candle we actually forgot to kill the flame when we left the house for a grocery trip. My seven dollar Aromascape Bamboo + Eucalyptus candle from Walmart actually produced more fragrance. SAD!

Mokara is my go-to candle. I received a Mokara votive as a gift years ago and have not found a superior candle. The flower notes remind me of a very light jasmine. I love the scent of jasmine. I've checked out many jasmine candles, but there are always additional notes that are too overpowering. The Mokara candle is the perfect balance of subtle and floral. It doesn't "stain" a room after it's put out. I have the candle in my bathroom, but the scent is low-key enough that I don't get a headache from it, even when lit for a couple hours.
