Pretty and Functional Desk

A very nice looking desk. It was easy to put together. And looks much more expensive than the price I paid. It blends in beautifully with my more traditional decor while adding a bit of modernity. The small drawer is helpful to store writing utensils, an a ruler and a stapler.

Love, love it. It's the right fit for the space. It is very sturdy. The tempered glass gives shows it as a nice, airy piece of furniture.

The desk is great, just a little problem of the drawer. It’s just like a jewel box. It can pull off the whole thing because there’s no drawer slides to support.

Assembly a bit challenging. Some random extra pieces left over. Usage of washers a bit ambiguous. Glass holds up desktop OK. Solid feel, but gave up on drawer: not very solid, got stuck closed and kept hitting my chair. Quality better than stuff I saw at Ikea or local discount furniture store. Overall very nice appearance, but I can see already that wood-like vaneer of desk won't last long under regular use. This material may be good for book shelf, but not made for constant usage of work desk. Next time I would buy an antique desk or have something made.

Totally love the desk! Well designed and easy to assemble. Though the desk arrived with the desk top damaged, Monarch responded quickly and sent a replacement within a week. I matched it with a Carson Carrington Swivel Chair that compliments my current modernist style. Highly recommended.

Quality of the material is good and the appeal of the desk is nice, however after I built the desk and set it up, I noticed the desk shakes left to right quite a bit as I type or do any kind of work on the desk. The glass legs on each side are not sturdy enough and need some sort of bracing along the bottom for support to keep it from wobbling. The durability for the price on this desk is not the best.

Overall this is a nice desk for the price. I'm really happy with it atheistically. It looks nice and the glass legs make it appear as if it's floating. They don't obstruct the light (my cat is thrilled about this!) or view from the windows. In terms of quality, I'd say it leaves a bit to be desired. It's not all that sturdy; it wobbles a bit. But, it holds my monitor, a couple pens and a pad of paper in the drawer, and gives me a place to do work that looks nice in my apartment. All in all i'm happy with my purchase.

This desk is perfect! I love the combination of wood & glass. Shipping was reasonable and didn’t take to long. Great product, I highly recommend getting.

The desk arrived as expected and unpackaged easy. The only improvement to the product would be a door stop (so you don't accidentally pull it all the way out). Easy enough fix for most DIYers. Loved it overall. Shipping could have been quicker than the multiple weeks, but if you aren't in a hurry....it's ok.

This desk was easy to put together (it took about an hour by myself), it is sturdy and the perfect size. I love the clean lines and that it blends into the background. I have it set up in the guest room as I needed a place to set up for work due to Covid-19. I wish I had done this sooner and I plan to use for years to come!

Arrived Damaged

Love the desk and needed to put it together for Christmas. Box was not damaged but inside, the top was damaged on the front corner. This is indicative of poor quality control.

Beautiul Contemporary Desk

Lovely, contemporary desk! Materials and finish are high quality. Glass is heavy-duty. Perfect for a polished, minimalist look.

Pro: . . - Good Quality . . - Looks Great . . - Easy to assemble (apart from weight) . . . . Con: . . - Very heavy package. At this point it's almost impossible for a single person to lift that package. They should have maybe sent multiple smaller packages so you can move them around. The table too is very heavy so if you plan on moving the table around a lot then this is not a good choice. . . - Packed in styrofoam. I feel that for $200+ table there should be a different packaging method than styrofoam. I'm not going to touch on how awfully bad that stuff is for the environment and your health, but it makes a damn mess in the whole house when you unpack it cause that stuff flies everywhere. . . - The edges are really sharp. I scratched myself on the drawer edge and even the table edges are pretty sharp and hurt when you lean on them.
