This rug is a nice quality and lays flat easily. Because it is a flat weave, I highly recommend using the premium rug pad to add needed cushion and prevents it from sliding. You will need to trim the pad to fit the rug. The color has more gray than the photo shows. Since I just purchased the rug, I can't speak for how well it will wear over time.
A pretty rug. The black and white is softened with the gray in the rug. It is woven fairly tight, but it can pull. However it is fairly easy to fix by pushing any loose threads through. It is easy to work with for the stairs. Overall, I am pretty happy with this purchase.
This is a beautiful area rug. We purchased the 10' x 14' size for our family room and placed over our hardwood floor. Being made of cotton it doesn't seem to "shed" at all. Is a nice soft area for the grandkids to play on. We also purchased the rug pad to go under it which adds nice cushion and makes it so much easier to vacuum. Happy with the purchase!
