Perfect Rug: Quality, Price and Color.

I love this rug! The colors, the quality, the price are all great! I ordered a 10x14 and it looks amazing in our family room. I plan to put a rug pad under it which will soften it up even more. It is not a firm rug, softer rug, can be folded up like a blanket. It's soft to walk on, lay on if watching TV. The colors are just like the picture. It did smell a little like a camping tent when first opening, but figure that is just because it is new. Highly recommend this rug in a larger size.

So this material is weaved and is "stretchable" if that makes sense. i LOVE it in our space but definitiely need a rug pad under it (emphasis on PAD). It actually is weaved so we had it upside down at first and could see all of the knots, etc. It will work in a space that doesn't have a lot of foot traffic/pets/kids/etc. Its really nice and get a lot of compliments but if you oversee the few flaws and take care of it, it is a great rug. Also, minor suggestion for the company. . . do not put a sticker on this weaved rug. We thought it was on the right side because you guys put a huge sticker on a strand/weave rug that pulls when you go to take it off!!!!!!

Update to this review: I have now had this rug installed for 6 months and it is falling to pieces. Threads are coming loose all over the rug and cannot be cut, or the entire rug will unravel. I've contacted both Overstock and the manufacturer to request a replacement or a refund and been denied by both because there is no warranty on this rug. I highly suggest not buying this rug and making sure to check warranty information before purchasing anything from Safavieh or Overstock. Their customer service policies are very disappointing. Original review: The rug is soft and even better looking in person that online. We have a pure white leather sofa that sits on this rug and I was worried the off-white of the rug wouldn't go with the sofa but the black and grey in the rug mute the off-white such that it looks perfect with the sofa. Love the pattern. I bought three of this size rug to use in kitchen in front of the sinks and stovetop. Ended up not liking the smaller size (wish I would have bought one or two more of the longer ones instead) but they are very affordable. I will for sure use them around the house at some point in front of the exterior doors. Purchased the longer runner style (2'3' x 7') for use in the laundry room and absolutely love. Thicker rug, has no backing at all. Appears to possibly be something you could wash in the washing machine.

Beautiful pattern & color tones were exactly what I was looking for. HOWEVER, this rug is not only thin, has no backing & slips super easily on HW floor, it PULLS. Constantly. It is also impossible to vacumn with anything but a gentle hand vac. I tried 3 other vacumns and they just sucked it in & created more pulls. So, if you live alone, have no children, pets, or visitors, & never need to clean it, than this is the rug for you!! Overall, a huge waste of money & I am super disappointed. The only reason I am keeping it is because of the hassle to return such a large item.
