The piece was packaged to ensure the unit was not damaged. We were very happy with that, as recently carriers have damaged other furniture not packaged as well. The workmanship is wonderful, color what was expected and made of good wood not laminated particle board. The only thing we were a bit disappointed in was the depth of the unit. The drawers are smaller than expected so it may be a bit snug to hold all the guest linens and towels I had hoped to store in it. Overall the piece is gorgeous and we are very pleased.
