Great grill, exceeding expectations so far

Assembly was pretty straightforward, I think it took me maybe 2 hours at most. Instructions were good but had one mistake, easy to spot. Appreciated the extra screws "just in case". The grill works great, and the lighted knobs are pretty cool. I'm surprised how much I like the window onto the grilling area--unexpectedly good feature. I bought a flexible magnetic grill light which works well, that would be a great built in feature.

Says stainless steel but is mostly powder coated

I purchased this via a "Big Box Store" on line and thought it was constructed predominantly of stainless steel as advertised. The bottom where the wheels attach, the sides which support the grill, the sides of the cook box, and many, many other parts are powder coated metal or plastic. Not even the cooking grates are stainless steel! Thanks for the "Bait and Switch" Monument! The gaps between the grates are large (3/4") yet the grates are 1/2" so food falling through may be an issue with food falling through. I guess that's a way for Monument to lower costs. Assembly was a bit of a challenge because none of the boxes are labeled whats inside so everything must be unpacked, opened, and then it's an Easter egg hunt for the parts. The instructions for attaching the side burner control could be better as they did not specify where the screws came from. I used the incorrect ones and later found the correct ones actually stowed in the bag with the knob, not with the screw set supplied and ladled. Upon 1st use I did note easy quick start of all burners, although the main burners flames will go beyond the flare up shields which will cause additional flare ups. The grill is thin and not solid although I used proper tools and applied correct torque to assemble it. I am disappointment thus far. Good luck! I may be returning this unit.

BEST residential grill I have ever cooked on !

The heating is very uniform across the grates, so no need to move product from one spot to another, unless you adjust the heat to create different heat zones. The cast grates are very durable, and clean up easily when done.

Buying this was a great decision

As Expected

It’s easy to start and clean. I’ve grilled steak filets, chicken kabobs, several burgers and hot dogs - they all came out perfect using the guide supplied with the grill. Cooking surface heats evenly.

Best Propane Grill

Seriously best grill I have ever owned, Fantastic product. VERY sturdy and well made grill. Worked right out of the box. Wife grills more than I do and she loves it too.

HORRIBLE

Have had grill for 6 months. Ignitor has already gone out and have to try forever to get it to light. Cooking 6 burgers the other night and the whole grill was burning. Had to dump a ton of baking soda in it to put out the fire. Contacted regarding a warranty and they told me that the grill was too dirty even tough it was just the baking soda debris in the bottom. Told me I'd probably already burned off grease.

Frustrating experience

Once I started to build the grill, I immediately noticed how bad the directions were. It’s clear that they were someone’s attempt to translate from another language. The wording is confusing throughout and actually wrong in places.

Looks good, but underperforms.

Setup was not difficult. It looks really nice and the lighting on the knobs is a cool touch, however they don't time out and it can kill those batteries quickly. The grill gets hot fast with the lid closed, however the heat when searing with the lid open is fairly weak. I wish this had higher BTUs or a searing option. This Grill is okay for thinner cuts of meat, but if you want a hard sear, or if you want to cook steaks with the lid open, you should get a different grill.

Arrived in a timely manner.

Arrived in a timely manner. the instruction made for an easy assembly. We have cooked on it several times now and love the even cooking, and how fast it heats up. Clean up is super easy with the slide out tray.

After searching for some time I decided on this Monument grill. Warranty is good and had good reviews.

Quality Well Made Grill

Ordered the Monument 3 Burner Grill as a gift to my husband. I’m reaping the benefits! The grill came well packaged, no damage. It took about 1 hour to assemble. It’s a great looking grill with stainless steel, lighted dials, see through hood, and auto start. The Monument grill heats up fast and cooks evenly. The grates are heavy duty. He has made great meals for us to enjoy. We look forward to many years of grilling!

Great Grill

This is the best grill I ever owned irrespective of price. Once you factor in the price it is phenomenal. Love the window so you can check on the food without releasing all the heat. It cooks great and looks great. So far found no negatives.

Great grill

I love this barbecue grill is neither too big, nor too small.....Perfect for a family of four and i love the lights on the knob. The assembly wasn't that easy it took me 3 hours. However i am not a handyman and i depended on the Monument web page for assembly videos.

Even Heat, Nice Controls, Solid Grill

Had this a month now and am very impressed. Grills evenly and the heat control is very fine. Very happy with this purchase. I've owned a lot of grills and stay away from the bottom ends stuff. This one was a good choice.

I also like that the gas tank is housed in its The assembly instructions are clear, precise and easy to follow. If you have a question their customer service department promptly returns your email.

Excellent Grill

This grill is amazing. Assembly was very easy. 3 burner is all we need for a family of four. There is lots of surface area for grilling. We love the LED knobs, such a great additional feature. Would purchase again!

Mesa 325 - Great Grill

Have only had the Mesa 325 less than a month, but so far it's been great. Arrived quickly, easy to assemble, instructions were well written and parts fit perfect. Warming the grill takes literally just a few minutes and it's already up to 500/600 degrees. Can put food anywhere on the grill and it all cooks evenly, so no need to shift things around to prevent overcooking or not cooking enough. Like the glass window so you can see how the food is cooking without having to keep opening the lid. So far, really enjoying this grill and the food it's cooking!

The Monument M325 3-burner grill is well made and reasonably easy to assemble. Most of it can be accomplished by one person. The firebox/lid assembly is best positioned with 2 people during assembly. The igniter works well. I have not tried the side burner to cook or heat yet but firebox burners work well. This grill heats up to 500 degrees amazingly quickly and heats evenly; no hot spots. I recommend seasoning the cast iron grill grates prior to first use to help prevent food from sticking. The easy access drip tray and pan make clean up easy. I covered both with foil before use. You can comfortably cook for 4 people, leaving plenty of room for maneuvering the food on the grates. The LED lights? Take the batteries out if you have kids. I am very satisfied with this grill.
