BUYER BEWARE! They kept my money!

BUYER BEWARE! They stole money. I bought 4 cushions that didn’t fit nor did I care for the quality and I returned all 4. Walmart via Arden refunded me 3 refunds. Showing tracking numbers for all 4. They “say” they refunded me but my bank has never received them. But months of back and forth and still no refund! I wish I had never purchased them. But I just want my money back, or help on retrieving it. I recommend not buying unless you keep regardless if they work or not. HORRIBLE experience. Walmart blames Arden, Arden blames Walmart. Both claim my bank has received money. No credits for all 4, only 3.

We found they had enough give to fit both sizes.

I bought these cushions for outdoor furniture that was very sturdy but the cushions were destroyed after years of use. I wondered how I could find cushions that would last like the old ones had. The ones I got from Lowe’s were beautiful and sturdy and clean up really nice. They fit wonderfully into the loveseat-sized piece as well as the single chair. They are comfortable and we look forward to many years using them.

Horrible Cushions

I bought four sets of these and have been noting but disappointed from the day I received them. Out of the box, the back cushion would not stay standing up. Every time you stand up the back cushion slides forward and lays down flat. So, every time you want to sit down, you have to pick up the back cushion and hold it in place as you sit. Then, after only a few uses by my under 100 lb child, the bottom cushion has completely lost its shape, and the color has worn off at the font edge of the cushion, which is almost completely flat from her legs. I bought these as a cheaper alternative to the Sunbrella cushions we have on another patio set, which are AMAZING! They are 7-8 years old now and are still firm as the first day we bought them, and the color has held well. It's cliche but as they say, you get what you pay for. In this case, you get less than what you pay for. I highly recommend you stay away from these cushions. If I could return them, I would. Check other reviews with pictures. Those with five stars were taken before the cushions were ever used. They look nice.....until you sit on them once.

Flimsy

I had no problem with the delivery. The actual cushion that you sit on seems fine. It is the back " cushions" that I have issues with. I can feel the metal on the chair back through the cushion. I can't even refer to it as a cushion as it is more like a half stuffed pillow. I am disappointed in the quality and would not recommend these if you want to lounge and be comfortable. Luckily I hadn't got rid of my old set and will try to figure out a way to make it work.

Cannot recommend

I cannot recommend these seat cushions. They replaced four Allen+Roth cushion sets (also purchased from Lowes) that were over 8 years old. The old cushions were structurally as good as new except the years had taken a toll on their appearance. These new Alair cushions are not holding up after less than a week of use. The cushion bottoms show indents from sitting on them. The fabric is sub-par compared to the old ones and one of the bottom cushions had a 2 1/2 inch gap in a front seam where the fabric was not hemmed. The fabric at the gap is badly frayed so repair by sewing is impossible. I should have repurchased the Allen+Roth cushions.

Good Choice for the Price

We purchased these replacement pillows for our outdoor loveseat and chair set. Our previous loveseat cushion was one continuous bench cushion, but we didn't find a set that we liked and fit with one continuous cushion, so we bought two sets to go onto our loveseat. That worked out great. It's a snug enough fit so that there is no gapping. We found it quite difficult to find deep seat cushions that fit our furniture measurements and while these were not an exact fit (we were worried about the seat itself, not the back pillow) we were hopeful they'd work out. We needed a seat pillow that was 22" x 24" but settled for this one that was 24" x 24". The inside foam for the cushion is soft enough that it was able to squish around the edges of the wood furniture to fit in. If you look closely at the picture of the chair, you can see the "squish" in the front corners. Unfortunately, that squish and softness also means that when you sit in the chairs for an hour or more that it leaves an indent in the cushion. I sat in the chair for about two hours and it took multiple days for the cushion to regain its shape, unlike our old cushions. I worry that over time the cushion foam will no longer bounce back to its original shape. I was a little nervous about pairing the denim blue with black furniture, but it is a good shade of blue that it does not clash - just enough contrast. Our seating set is under a covered front porch, so I'm not worried about the fabric holding up in the elements. It gets good morning sun, so I will report back if it fades. I'm hopeful that they won't! The website description is not quite accurate on the size of the pillows, so I added the measurements to my picture. The thickness of the seat cushions is about 5 ½". There are loops on both cushions that you could figure out a way to fasten them to your chairs, but they cannot be tied on as is and if you cut the loop, the string would not be long enough to tie.
