I got this on a great deal as a used item
I got this on a great deal as a used item. It works as expected. My monitor is toward the top of the spec range tolerance, a 19 lbs 28" Upstar 4K.The only difficulty was the thumbscrews were too shallow for the VESA threads in my monitor, I had to run to the hardware store and grab some washers to use as spacers. You can't tilt the monitor so far back that the screen is practically parallel to and facing the ceiling like some others, but I honestly can't think of a scenario anyone would want to. It goes real close to parallel the other way with the screen pointing towards the ground, I guess usefull if you're lying down somewhere close. This doesn't have anything to do with the quality of this product but my desk is made of really cheap wood and started to bend when extended. I found some 3"x18" pieces of metal that used both underneath the desktop and on it to reenforce it. Personally I would recommend everyone do the same just for peice of mind, especially if you the arm is fully extended a lot like mine.If I had to pay full price I would probably get Basic one, the gas spring seems slightly easier to adjust (not that it's difficult at all on this product). But to be honest I wouldn't even do that. I would get something in the $40-$50 (what I paid for this used) range like the Suptek high stand or even the $36 North Bayou product. Once people set their monitor in the position they want don't adjust them very much after, and from reading the reviews all of them are capable of holding positions once set. The difference between a $40 monitor arm and the included monitor stand (no matter how nice) is massive, the difference between a $100 arm and a $40 arm is not that much.

Works as advertised. Nice, smooth movement and holding my 28" monitor with no problems.
No grommet attachment!
Didn't come with the Grommet attachment as shown in the photos and mentioned in the Q&A. Not sure how to contact the seller. Thought I'd mention it here and hope to get a response. The product itself looks and feels really sturdy. I look forward to assembling and using it once I get all the pieces. Giving it four stars at the moment because not really fair to judge it until I use it and it does seem well made.
Five Stars
Best mount, you can use only 1 arm only if you want. Best mount all around out there.
love this - so easy to put together
love this - so easy to put together, adjusts any way you can imagine. Works perfect for my small desk, I can put monitor up out of the way or swivel to show a picture to a customer.
Happy purchase
Shipping:- Item arrived as planned, wanted a more colorful one but theres no option in the market, went for this black one with nicer design.- Package quality is fairly good, everything in order and in its own box.Product:- Instructions for installation are very clear (EN), at first it might seem overwhelming but everything fits in place.- It contains almost everything you need (additional screwdriver needed).- Ease of assembly, you should have it mounted and working in around 15min.- Quality is better than expected, material build doesn't feel or look cheap for the price.Usability:- Cable management is good, cables play nicely with the swinging arm.- You can give each angle or movement your desire strength with an M3 / M6 wrench- It comes preset for a monitor of 2.5-4.5Kg, if you have a monitor outside that, adjustment with M6 wrench is recommended.- It also comes ready for C-Clamp, Grommet or Wall Mount methods of mount. The two things I liked the most:- No bad surprises.- The "3D" finish it has in the arm design, sort of diamond like (details in pictures).
