Cracked after 2 months
This is the second grinder I've bought this year. The first one cracked within 3 months. This one within 2. Emailed Mr. Coffee. After looking at this reviews, it is obvious they don't care about their manufacturing out of China.
junk
had used ours for couple months then it conked out.would not recommend
Coffee Made Easy
Easy to use and clean. Like it better than a previous purchase from another brand. Love how you can select the size.
Stopped Working after 2 weeks
It's been just under 3 weeks since I purchased this grinder and it stopped working this morning. This was my first and now last time buying this brand.
Died after 4 uses
Ttile says it all. It is cheap plastic and just up and died. They didn't even bother with wanting it shipped back.
Very bad quality
Poor quality - the cover started becoming loose and never stayed in place when switched on. Having to hold the lid in place - to have it work was tedious. Also the cup got stuck and could not be removed. It’s been a hassle
Dummy loud with inconsistent grinds
First off, this is WAY louder than the Krups this replaced. I could live with that if it ground coffee (the only thing I grind, can't speak to spices) well, but alas! It consistently is leaving behind whole, intact beans and inconsistent grinds. The twist cup mechanism is fine but finicky and sometimes sticks, which makes me wonder how long it'll last. The lid is also a twisting lock mechanism but seems more consistent, to its credit. But the cup has little cutouts between the metal and plastic housing where grounds get in and from which I cannot get them out, so after the first use or two it looks dirty in a way that can't be cleaned. Frustrating. Overall for $30 it's fine (and medium, and course...), but I am already after just a month of use thinking about a replacement. Pros: available in a pinch from your local store does technically grind coffee price is just okay "automatic" grinding is...a feature? I guess? (is it that hard to hold down a button for ten or fifteen seconds in exchange for a better grind?) Cons: - grinds inconsistently - so dang loud - cannot fully clean Overall verdict: just save and get something slightly nicer if you can wait.
5.0 out of 5 stars Grinds our beans
Works great. Had go against man code and read the directions on how much beans.Has been working great.Wife hates the noise in the morning but im off to work…..
Works good
It's not great, but works okay for what I need.
5.0 out of 5 stars Morning coffee
Grinding coffee!
THE ONE !
Hands done - the BEST. Easy twist onto base. Easy off to empty. Not too noisy. Grinds super fine ! Returned a KitchenAid and Cuisinart. Hope it lasts longer than a year
Problems after a few uses
Removable chamber is stuck to base and lid doesn’t latch after 5 uses. The grinder itself still works, but lid has to be held down.
Mr Coffee AutoGrinder
Nice to push a button and walk away. An upgrade from holding a button the whole time because I often would accidentally let go, which messes up the timer. The plastic is thin which makes the process quite noisy, the only reason I chose 4 instead of 5 stars.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great quality for the price
It works perfectly and it only requires one push on the button for it to grind all the way.
Spend a little more and get a better grinder.
Removable cup was no longer removable after about a month, but twists on the base triggering the auto shut off. I still use it as it will work if I push down on the lid when it’s operating. Shopping for a new one.
4.0 out of 5 stars Daily use
This is our 3rd Mr coffee grinder in about 4 years. We use it daily and don’t expect it to last forever. Works great that’s why we buy same brand when it finally dies.
LOUD
Gave myself a heart attack turning this on for the first time - probably made my poor cat lose a fistful of fur too. Motor is RIDICULOUSLY loud, it's insane.
4.0 out of 5 stars Plug your ears!
This coffee grinder does a fine job at grinding my beans. I really like that it has multiple settings for how coarse or fine you want your coffee and that I can push a button and walk, or rather run away from. I appreciate not having to hold down the button or guess how long I should hold it to get the desired consistency. However, does it have to be so freaking loud? Gosh dang it, my poor ears!! If you have to grind coffee while others in the house are sleeping, just don’t unless you need to wake them up. I have had blenders quieter than this grinder. Yikes!
5.0 out of 5 stars I use it alll the time
Since I use it all the time I imagine this is loose now. BUt I really like it. I just push a little bit and it goes perfectly. I love it!
Base doesn't detach
Bought this yesterday, grinder bowl does not detach at all. I can't turn it counter clockwise or clockwise. It seems glued. Going to get a different one.
