Very impressed....

This is a very well made, sturdy and nice looking file cabinet. If you have patience to put IKEA furniture together, you can assemble this. Instructions are detailed and easy to follow. All pieces fit snug, no misaligned holes. Drawers glide easily and align perfectly. Accomodates legal or letter size hanging file folders. Only one locking drawer, but I wasn't in need of this feature, so it was not a problem. Top of cabinet is big enough to hold my printer. I was looking for a two-drawer white file cabinet to go with a white desk I already had with similar hardware. This matched perfectly. Highly recommend!

I bought this filing cabinet when I started working from home and looked at new and used cabinets but for the price and use, this one seemed to be the best fit. Nice looking with full utilization. The file drawers fit 11 x 8-1/2 paper, file folders and folder hangers perfectly and can certainly fit 8-1/2" x 14" paper with folders and hangers in the drawer the long way without folding any paper. The top is great for my printer. Looks pretty sweet!! Well worth the buy!!

Great purchase for the price.

Replaced a rickety all metal one with drawers that would bind up and was difficult to pull out. Very light weight. This was fun to put together,(bought 2 to stack) and works great with smooth drawers and nice finish. Would have liked to have folders sideways in drawer for the application I have in a closet, but not a deal killer. As I said, the engineering is great and everything matched up and holes were right size. The pegs went in easily even using a power screwdriver. Just have to be careful and control the torque not to strip out the particle board as it is very unforgiving. The price here even with shipping was less than picking up at Office Depot.

Inaccurate description

Cheap and flimsy material that looks nothing like pictures. The spring oak is almost ash grey. Unfortunately, the original boxes were disposed of by our contractor and they will not take back. Garbage.

Inexpensive, but looks like real furniture.

Very nice cabinet. Drawer slides are smooth and the legal size accommodates big bundles of odd-size sheets such as receipts. As other reviewers have noted, it's not really full-extension. The last couple inches of files in the back are covered. Also, be prepared for a complete, from-scratch assembly.

Good file cabinet for legal size hanging folders

I like this file cabinet. Build is nice and goes well with wood office furniture. I dropped one star because drawers don’t come out far enough to use letter size hanging folders which are side facing. I can only use legal hanging folders which are front facing.
