Damaged

I like the fire place.the reason for the one star is because when we got the fireplace out of the carton we discovered 2 peices broken of.I contacted the service department spoke to 3 different people.they gave me the option of returning g it or I could have a 25.00 credit. To me this offer is an insult as the fireplace is in the basement,the packaging is destroyed and gone. I have no way of getting this upstairs to return it as I am 84 years old and they won't take it without the box it came in. I am willing to keep it if abetted arrangement can be reached

BROKEN!!!

This fireplace showed up broken in approximately 20 pieces, I did read reviews of people saying the same thing, but hoping for the best. It just wasn't packaged correctly for shipping. I have returned it and waiting for my refund. Too bad because this is a beautiful piece. Maybe the manufacturer will correct this issue. I have noticed that Amazon already discontinues this produce and it is probably due to this reason.

Damaged, poor quality.

I bought this on Feb 19 and received it on Feb 21. I was excited to unpack and was ready for some styrofoam packaging mess with the vacuum cleaner ready. Never could I imagine how much of a disaster this purchase would be! When I finally had carefully cut open the 120 lbs. box and began to remove the many pieces of crumbling styrofoam, I expected a product I would be satisfied with. Colour, nicer than I expected, looks like real little slate bricks. Mantal, Dark and a bit odd looking but could work with it. Construction of the faux brick: broken and cracked at the bottom and the lower back. Sent pix to R asking for some kind of discount to keep the item. They refused. Then gave me the phone numbers for the manufaturer to repair the product! This ended up being the Region of Muskoka...ONTARIO! I'm not kidding. Called back only to send photos to someone who was more helpful and apologetic but in the end could only offer a return of the item for a refund so that I could..get this: buy another one as a replacent! RONA misses the mark with this type of item. Don't even bother. I'm going to my local family owned bigger furniture and appliance store to order one that will be safely and cleanly delivered to my home. I'll pay more but I will be getting what I pay for and supporting a local family run business.

Arrived broken and no assistance

Once it was delivered I opened it up and found that the stonework was shattered. I contacted Walmart and they offered a refund. I requested an exchange instead and I was told they couldn't offer an exchange. So I figured I could just purchase again since I'd be receiving a refund only to learn they increased the price by nearly $400, nearly double what I paid! THANKS WALMART!

The unit was smaller than I thought...but still nice. There was only two pieces which made it super easy to put together. The flames are realistic. Great find!

Excellent, easy to ensamble, looks very elegant in my living room.

Item arrived broken in half... Looks great if it was one piece. Manufacturer should def box these a lot better.

My fireplace came damaged at the bottom in the front(as did the box) despite abundance of styrofoam packaging. It does not heat a 13’ x13’ (169 sq. ft) room even at max displayed temp of 86 degrees on the fireplace front.

This is by far one of my favorite purchase I have ever made. It came directly to my door in only 2 pieces so it was super easy to put together, installation/setup took maybe 5 minutes. I love the 3 different flame looks, the adjustable heat feature, the remote, and how easy it is to use. This piece is GORGEOUS and has quickly become the heart of our love. It was originally more than I wanted to spend, but now I can easily say it was worth it. LOVE LOVE LOVE!

Adorable fireplace and very efficient. It arrived with damage to the back edges and box.. it looked like it was dropped en route. I contacted Wayfair via the app and submitted photos. Within a day they issued a refund. Had there not been damage, this fireplace would have been perfect. And Wayfair’s customer service has been above 5 stars as I move into a new home and having to furnish the whole house… it’s a great help and relief.

The bottom part was broken. It's a pity when you pay such a large amount and the thing turns out to be broken.It's just that the thing is too heavy to return, so we had to spend more money and repair the bottom part.

Perfect size for small areas

Realistic brick look. Overall very attractive. Happy with our purchase.

This fireplace is beautiful , however , the finish is quite fragile . On top of that the sub straight is white . Mine had small pinhole defects in the darkest ( wood look ) colors that showed as white specks . Like dust that should wipe off but it was permanent into the finish .

The unit it self is great it works perfectly we love it. But when I opened the box there are several places that were damaged. I would worry with sending it back but I had to have help getting in the house and unpacked found them as soon as I unpacked it but it was such a pain to do that I don’t know how to even begin trying to file a claim about it. Frustrating
